In the end none of them got the ticket and we got a great pravachan that money that isn't hard earned is not worth it. Also, Lakshmi ji comes to those who do not chase her but do their work properly. Oh well, Popat did that, didn't he ? He helped a man without expecting anything in return. Winning the lottery is a sign that Maa Lakshmi was pleased with his generosity. If he wasn't the rightful owner why did he win the lottery at all ? What sort of twisted logic is that ?
