In that novel the second wife constantly lives in the shadow and thought that maxim could love only his first wife Rebecca. she tries to please him lots of ways .She also fumbles and fails like guddan . Very Low on Confidence . People keep telling her Rebecca was more beautiful and capable than her .

In the end it is revealed that in fact maxim hated his first wife, as he loved her deeply but she had cheated on him . But later during the court proceedings of murder charges ,he comes to know that in fact rebecca had cancer and she was dying and so she created a drama so that in his heart maxim would hate her and forget her and move on.

This was the novel .But in the movie they changed it a bit .

Its a Indian tv show so obviously they will tweak and change ,but I can see the same shades. Even Maxim was exactly Like AJ's Character .

No doubt Rebecca was a brilliant story but the more they stay away from it the better

AJ's dedications & feelings for Antra is one of the main attractive feature of his character, this feature is a proof/certificate of his capability of loving someone.

& the mere thought of him loving Guddu with same intensity is enough to me feel ...i am unable to find the correct word to describe this positive feeling of happiness at the moment.

While Maxim from start of his marriage loathed Rebecca.

i feel if cvs take inspiration, it will be more from its bollywood adaption "Anamika"

But this type of scenario on FL wearing ML's ex's clothes & spiting them is very common in indian tv.

Ex:- Punar Vivah 1, Bepannah, etc

Yeah after reading the story I could see some similarilities...but frankly don't want exactly this way...

Here the hero hate his first wife because of the misunderstanding intentionally created by her...but at last came to know the reality that because she had cancer she had to do it for him for hating her...

.If this happens in Guddan it will be very difficult for AJ to bear this, he will be heartbroken & it will become more difficult for him to move on from Antara zone & accept Guddan. Because he is broken inside even Guddan's presence itself will affect him & he will give more pain to Guddan knowingly or unknowingly which I don't want to happen...No offense...this is just my point of view...rest of the story is ok

Yes guddan is light entertainment. They will retain that flavour. But the best part is it has a strong track to follow. Ll these ingredients are needed for a good daily soap. So we have a good future to look forward to in guddan hopefully. Comedy , emotions and a serious track. All amalgamated well .
