Well, we have heard a lot that such and such contestant is providing a lot of content or Masala' in the show and we associate masala with entertainment in shows like Bigg Boss, which is true to a certain extent. I'm saying to a certain extent because a dish made without masala would be very bland & boring but a dish made with excessive masala or entirely of masala (whether good quality or cheap quality masala) would not be palatable either. Similarly shows like Bigg Boss need masala to make the show interesting and watchable but the thing is Both the quantity as well as quality of masala needs to be appropriate to make the show view worthy.
But IMO this season Bigg Boss has completely lost the plot. Bigg Boss has become like a dish which has become too much masala-centric . They are serving us a dish which is made almost entirely of masala and that too a cheap quality one (like Surbhi, Deepak etc), hence their show has become so unpalatable or unwatchable.
