It is because general public is too much access to BW thanx to social media and OTT platforms. It is no lesser than a circus. Too much information of stars, movies, behind the scenes, gossips, best and worst dressed of every event, forums like these where we discuss A-Z of BW has killed the allure and awe of BW. The superstar era has gone. I think Khans were the last superstar.

I am a 90's kid where the only access to BW was TV. Earlier in case we didn't go for a movie in cinema halls, we eagerly used to wait for world television premiers. Now new movies are available on prime and netflix within 2 months and definitely there is downloading from internet.

Though sure there are good changes such narrowing the gap between commercial and content driven cinemas.

I can so relate to this. Also, praying that the cable walla will play the pirated copy of the film you were waiting to watch on Sunday.

If you had to pick just one Bollywood movie as your all-time favorite, which one would it be? And what makes it so special for you?
