Kitna Girogi Mauli?

Kunal is convinced that Mauli is some giri hui aurat, who used pregnancy as a weapon to keep him from lub of his life, his manjil, his oxygen.

But what I don't understand is that how can he leave his mother and grandmother to fend for themselves, with such a giri hui aurat?

He does not want responsibilities of his mother, this is what I dislike about this character, Mauli has been in his life for 7 years, Nandini for 3 months but for his 3 months old sanak, he left a woman who gave birth to him, who raised him as a single mother for years and when he left them, he didn't even think how will they live with someone like Mauli, who according to him is a giri hui aurat?

In his love for Nandini, he was not worried about his child's but he was worried, why his child is not dead? And if she's not dead, it means she doesn't exist.


He wasn't this man before, how has Nandini's love changed him for better? I do see people talking about Nandini's Kunal being better, better in what way exactly? Losing every ounce of emotion or feelings for people who gave you years of their life or not having a little sensitivity for a pregnant woman?

Even if we go along with the story and believe Nandini was his true love, I still don't get how he could become so insensitive. Like when Mauli ran to save the child and fell, Kunal was about to run, so I was like, chalo kuch toh accahyi bachi hai. But he stops and thinks how she's able to get up. That made me wonder, is this the same Kunal, who risked his life to save a child in the initial episodes. He was shown to be so caring. Even when the affair started, Mauli once hit her head in the car and he was concerned (that unfortunately gave her false assurance). But now he's like this monster who cares for no one except Nandini. Can men go this blind for love?

The Kunal he acts like with Nandini was the same way he acted with Mauli, only difference now is that he no longer cares about or respects anybody else now apart from Nandini. If what he has with Nandini is truly love, then this will be the first time I have witnessed love change a person for the worse rather than better.

@priya...yup in real life...monsters like kunal does exist...who becomes insensitive towards their wives for the other women...
