But the Queen Sudeshna too would have to belong to the same caste as her brother. Which means that her offspring were half suta. Abhimanyu married Uttara, the Queen's daughter and the only surviving descendant of the Pandavas who went on to be king, was also of suta blood from his mother's side. Quite interesting I must say. I wonder how Yudhishtira who described mixed classes as impure reacted to the mixing of bloodlines in his own family.

Higher caste man marrying lower caste woman will have children belonging of father caste.. I think the link of sacred text shared show how lower caste man marrying higher caste was issue..and brahmans were superior to Kshatriya so brahman woman marrying Kshatriya was looked down upon..

@sweetRogue- I think if you see Priya _Vrisha's reply on first page..you can see quotes from Mahabharat where karn is insulted based on his caste..

I have seen regular insult of karna where all called him lowest born human.

1] Bhima's View

2] Shalya's view

Agriculture and tending of cattle and gift are the occupations of the Vaishyas according to the scriptures. Shudras have been ordained to be the servants of the brahmanas, the kshatriyas, and the vaishyas. Similarly, the Sutas are the servants of kshatriyas, and not latter the servants of the former.

3] Bhishma's view

Thou art alone in holding as true the opinion, O bull of the Bharata race, only three persons, viz., Karna, a low-born Suta's son cursed by Rama, Sakuni, the son of Suvala, and thy mean and sinful brother Dussasana.'

4] Kunti's view

Endued with every virtue, thou art the first of all my relations. Let not the epithet Suta's son attach to thee

As per Bhima, All suta cast society was equal to Dog

When Duryodhana asked shalya to be charioteer of Karna then Shalya insulted Karna. As per shalya, Karna (suta) was lowest born person. As per Shalya, Suta were like sudra means same both were servent of kshtriyas

As per Bhishma, Suta were lowest born people

Kunti also accepted being 'Suta-Putra' was humiliating and insulting

I hate Bheem , Kunti and Bhishma. Even if I give them the excuse of being nothing but truncated product of a truncated social system , shouldn't they have at least taken his valor into consideration before uttering such inhuman offensive words against him ?? The fact that he's not a true Sutaputra ?? Kuch bhi , just to insult a person. , because he's questioning the bias and interfering in your entitled life style and also putting your so-called best tag into danger .

Karn can be called as dog in the open Rangbhumi ( that quotation of Bheema was from Rangbhumi events , anyone can verify that themselves . ) but he must not open his mouth against any one !
