Jitne pass pass sagar ki leher utne pass tu rehna humsafar

Finally got some time and rewatched the Thursday romance multiple times. What stuck me most was the line of the song jitne pass pass sagar ki leher utne pass tu rehna humsafar. The waves originate from the depth of ocean. Still wave has a separate identity and wave is the medium through which the sea communicate to the shore. Hence wave being a part of ocean is separate. But it gets its identity only with the ocean. Without waves ocean is like any water body and without ocean wave cannot be seen. Same is the case with zoya and aditya. If he is the ocean she is the wave. She is the medium through which his pain will come out. In his heart her breath find solace and in her breath he gets life. As the pain in his heart is too much. It has killed him, almost killed his heart. He wants someone to listen to that pain. So that his tears can be shed. I loved it when the voiceover happens rone de aaj mujhe. There is a purdah between them. That means still there is a gap between them. He is yet to understand the depth of her love. He is yet to feel secure in her love. As the purdah moves she goes to the bed and sits in the heart. He follows. It's one heart and they are united in heart. And the purdah falls on them. As he realizes he is the only one in her heart he feels complete. In line with the proposal where he takes the path of the heart and brings her to the same path. Yes they have chosen the path of heart. Now they have to remain in path of heart. She tries to speak,but the moment he realizes she is his desire overtakes the sane voice of the heart. Once again the sane voice comes in her. But the desire in him makes her also finally succumb to desire. The sound happens and she has to go. As any external interference she deals with it as shown in candle scene. But to ensure the external influence doesn't make them deviate from the path of heart is his job. Relighting the extinguished candle. For that he had to understand what that sane voice was trying to tell. Or rather he has to hear that whisper which she tells so that he doesn't repeat the mistake of the part. So that she remains in his heart forever. So that none outside interfere in their relation. The world can't defeat them as long as they don't defeat themselves with their fear and insecurity. Especially aditya who is scarred by the diary. He has to trust zoya who like a wave will communicate his truth to the world.

@shabla@hadz I couldn't enjoy that part much due to my busy weekend schedule. So now enjoying it for all the feels. @kiru more than when they come to the heart I really loved HC expression with the voiceover between the purdah. Those lines his expressions everything conveyed the pain of aditya which needs an outlet. A plea to zoya to listen to the pain allow his tears to fall as he can't show them to anyone. The scars which he has covered up with his anger and sarcasm he wants to open upto her. And as the purdah moves she moves to the heart. He can trust her. He need not make her a prisoner she is not going anywhere. She is going to be there in his heart to wash away all his tears.

beautifully put. when zoya said humhe aap ki kaid se kabhi azadi nahin chahiye after thusassurencefromzoya then the expression of HC was out of world. happy, sukoon, she is mine, sexual tension what not i felt.

Brilliantly written post . Loved to read it. So true . The lovely song carries a deep meaning . Adiya are inseparable as waves and the ocean cannot be separated and each exits because of the other one . All the expressions of adiya were magical . Zoya is ready to face every hardship because she cares for Aditya happiness . Due to the divorce papers some mu can be there but Zoya will not go from aditys life . And similarly Aditya will never leave Zoya s side . He may be angry with her for sometime . We shd keep on enjoying the heavenly pair Zoya n Aditya
