Kunal is very important in his field, so important that he has meetings with the health minister. Look at the house and the car and their life style. He is suppose to be one of the best pediatricians in the city. Mauli herself has acknowledged that Kunal is more successful and does more important work than her, in the initial episode. He wanted to put in free camps and provide medicine to poor children, so definitely he has the money to support his family as well as Nandini. The main question is will Mauli ask for it? I do not think so.

^^
Then why didn't he use that money to make his own clinic? Why was Mauli working round the clock to fulfill his dream and he was busy with his ayashi with Nannu? He could have taken out that money from his Swiss bank account and started his own clinic.

In a party he said, he will have his own clinic at the end of the year, Mauli heard it and she decided to give him a surprise. She kept it a secret. In fact they even had an argument when he found out that she was working on a Saturday and he was pissed because they had decided that they will keep their weekends for each other, their personal time. Even the Roohani aarzoo night, he wanted to spend with Mauli as his project was approved by the health minister, but Mauli brought Nandini even though he objected and then she spend the first half planning the clinic. In a way, this clinic is also one of the root cause for the increasing distance between them and decreasing distance between K and N

Adultery is not a criminal offence but it is still a civil offence which guarantees immediate divorce to the victim if adultery clause is used to file divorce case. Mauli could have easily proved it since she had witnesses for that as well.If Mauli had used this as a reason to file for divorce then her divorce would have been granted immediately and Kunal would have been forced to give her alimony if Mauli had asked for it in her divorce clauses.

Adultery still remains a civil offence that guarantees immediate divorce. If a wife is cheating with another man, then husband can't be asked for alimony if he files for divorce under this clause. But if husband is cheating, then wife can ask for alimony for herself and her children if any under this clause.
(Even though it's a unfair to men considering financial prospects, since they can't claim any sort of alimony from their cheating wives).

I don't much about that. But try to google about it. Especially section 13 of the act which concerns with the divorce. There is a lot of information about it.

Okay. Will Google more about it when I am free.
