Proud Moments..

Purva gives a courteous smile and takes the coffee. "Thank you." She says. "Lekin abhi humaara mood nahi hai kisi se baat karne ka. Hum baad mein baat kare?"

"Nahi. Mujhe lagta hai yeh hi sahi waqt hai baat karne ka." Anushka says adamantly.

"Anushka.." Purva says.

But Anushka doesn't let her finish and says, "Purva, aao baitho!"

They sit on the bed and Purva looks away. "Karthik ke baare mein soch rahi ho?"

Purva shakes her head and says, "Nahi. Apne baare mein soch rahe hai. Apni galti ke baare mein soch rahe hai."

"Kaun si galti?"

"Karthik aur Nupur ki shaadi todne ki galti." She replies, and tears roll down her cheeks again. "Humne unka ghar todd diya Anushka. Pyaar mein andhe hokar humne yeh bhi nahi socha ke woh shaadi-shuda hai, kisi ka pati hai. Ek ladki ki shaadi tudva di humne." She says and cries.

Anushka is shocked hearing this and takes her into her arms. She tries to calm her down but to no avail. She forcefully pushes her away and makes her look up.

"Karthik ki shaadi tumhaari wajah se nahi tooti. Woh uska apna decision tha. Kisi ne usse force nahi kiya." She says.

"Ha lekin humne usse apni feelings ke baare mein bataaya issi liye usne.. Purva says. "Yeh sab humaari wajah se hua hai. Humne ek ladki ka ghar todd diya."

"Nahi Purva tum.." Anushka says but before she could finish Siddhant comes in the room and says, "Toh ab tu kya karegi?"

Purva quickly gets up and wipes her tears. Anushka sees Siddhant's anger coming out and tries to intervene. But Siddhant assures her that everything is fine.

Siddhant takes a few steps forward and gently pushes Purva's chin up to make her look him in the eye.

"Bolo. Ab tum kya karogi? Rishta toh toot gaya Karthik aur Nupur ka. Agar tumhe lagta hai ki jo kuch bhi hua teri wajah se hua, toh tum yaha kyun khadi ho? Jao, jaake Karthik se maafi mango aur usse convince karo ke woh Nupur se sulaah kar le." Siddhant says adamantly.

Anushka is shocked and says, "Siddhant, tum.."

"Bilkul sahi keh rahe hai. He says and continues. "Ab Purva bacchi nahi hai. Badi ho gai hai. Aur agar usse lagta hai ki uss se galti hui hai, toh usse apni galtio ki responsibility leni padegi."

Purva is shocked to hear her Bhai say exactly what her Papa had told her.

"Kya hua?" Siddhant asks.

"Papa ne bhi abhi yeh hi kaha." She blurts out without thinking.

Anushka is a little surprised but Siddhant smiles and says, "Aur unhone yeh bhi kaha hoga ki, yeh sab sochane ya karne se pehle tum apne dil ki baat samjho, apni priorities ko samjho. Hai na?"

Purva absently nods and Siddhant chuckles. He puts his hands on her shoulders and says, "Purva, Karthik ne humaare ghar pe aake apne pyaar ko confess kiya tha. Usko kisi ne influence ya force nahi kiya tha kuch bhi karne ke liye. Uski shaadi uska decision hai. Aur agar fir bhi tujhe lagta hai ki yeh sab teri wajah se hua hai, toh uss se baat kar. Mann ki baat mann mein rakhne se kitani takleef hoti hai, yeh hum se behtar koi nahi jaanta."

Anushka walks up behind him and puts a hand on his back. She looks at her husband and then to Purva she says, "Tum aaram se soch samajh ke decision lena. Aur tum jo koi bhi decision logi, usme hum sab tumhaare saath hai."

Relieved, Purva looks at Siddhant and asks, "Sacchi?"

Siddhant pokes her nose and smilingly says, "Mucchi!"

Purva hugs her Bhai-Bhabhi for a long moment. She steps back and Siddhant kisses her forehead. "Aur aage se aise baccho ke jaise rona matt. Galti ho ya na ho, you need to start taking responsibility your actions. Okay!?"

"Okay!" Purva promises.

They chat a little bit more without realizing that Gayatri has been standing at the door all along. As she looks at her children, she feels so proud. She goes to her room and looks at Prabhakar's picture. With tears in her eyes and smile on her face she says, "Aaj humaare bacche bade ho gaye. Ab woh khud aapke dikhaaye hue raaste par chalne lage hai."

In Purva's room, Anushka suggests that they should all go out for dinner after a long day. Purva and Siddhant agree. Purva and Anushka start getting ready and Siddhant goes to Gayatri's room to ask her to get ready, too.

When he enters the room, he sees his mother looking at his father's pictures with teary eyes. He smiles solemnly and hugs her from behind.

"Aap dekh rahe hai na Papa, Purva ke room ke bahaar khade reh kar rona jaise kam tha jo ab woh yaha aake fir se rone lagi!" He says.

Gayatri is surprised to know that he knew she was standing outside. "Tujhe kaise pata ke hum bahar khade the?"

"Kyun ki hum aapke bete hai aur paida hue tab se aap ko jaante hai." He says with a chuckle and hugs her tighter as she caresses his face.

She turns around and kisses his forehead and says, "Aaj humaare dono bacche bade ho gaye. Humein tum pe bohot garv hai. Jis tarah se tumne Purva ko sambhala, ab humein yakeen ho gaya hai ke kal ko agar hum nahi bhi hue toh.."

"Ma! Aap chup rahie. Aap kyun nahi hongi? Kahi nahi ja rahi hai aap. Kabhi bhi nahi." Siddhant says, a little hurt and worried by the thought of losing her.

"Kabhi nahi jaaenge, yeh toh kaise chalega? Waqt aane pe ek din sab ko jaana hai." She replies and when Siddhant starts to protest again she adds, "Lekin hum jab bhi jaaenge na, hume kisi baat ka darr nahi rahega kyun ki hume yakeen ho gaya hai ki tum aur Anushka sab sambhaal lo ge."

Seeing Siddhant disturbed by the thought of losing her, she cups his face and says, "Tum ne toh aise muh latka liya jaise hum jaane ki taiyaari mein hai. Abhi toh hume Purva ki shaadi karani hai, tum dono ke baccho ko laad-pyaar se bigaad na hai, aur Anushka se khub seva karvaani hai. Fir, agar mood hua toh, hum jaane ke baare mein sochenge." And chuckles coaxing a laugh out of Siddhant.

Siddhant hugs her and says, "I love you so much! Ab chaliye jaldi se taiyaar ho jaaie."

"Kyun?" She asks.

But before Siddhant can answer, Anushka comes in and says, "Aree Ma, aap abhi tak taiyaar nahi hui? Dinner ke liye der ho rahi hai. Aaj Sunday hai aur time pe nahi nikale toh lambi si waiting line mein khade rehna padega."

Before Gayatri can respond, Purva barges in and says, "Aree? Ma, Bhai, aap log na kahi bhi jaane mein itani der karte ho. Ab jaldi karo na, hume bhookh lag rahi hai."

"Hmm. Aur mein ek kaam karti hu, reservation karva leti hu. Kaha jaana hai?" Anushka asks Siddhant.

Siddhant and Gayatri asks her and Purva to decide and go to get ready.
