Ramdhari Singh ' Dinkar'

September 23rd marks the birth anniversary of the poet, Ramdhari Singh ' Dinkar'. He was from Begusarai in Bihar !

I was always good in Hindi n Sanskrit

He was a better essayist than a poet. May be he was the finest essayist in hindi. Probably he has written best book on Shri aurbindo. He had extreme respect for women which reflected in his writings. Urvashi is best example of it. He had progressive view on love, passion and romance. Which he wrote is very natural. He worked for women empowerment in his area. He had great understanding of human emotions , very fine philospher and expert of many languages , history , cultural. In veer rasa his kurushetra is best. i wish he should have concentrated more on essays. He was good friend of osho and used to visit aurbindo aashram also.
