Marriage ritual and mantra placement symbolisms

So went through the entire marriage rituals with couple of times. Actually it is very symbolic with all the mantra placements. Beautifully done. First and the foremost. With yash zoya was never colored in his color or rather they had a court marriage and she never tried to know his way of life. Neither did he try to know her way of life. In the fb when zoya comes there is an fb where she remembers adi wearing that Muslim cap and then learning to say salaam the right way. That time he had respected their function and also tried to be part of it. When he came to siddique house on that rainy night he says aslam alaikkum to roshnaq and noor. It shows though an individual he will try to absorb the other culture also. Today zoya came coloured in his color respecting his way of life. That lack of Bindi on her forehead showed her individuality else she sat respectfully to the customs of Hindu wedding joining him. In a marriage both will have to adapt to each other culture. Then as they do the havan the shanti mantra is played. All the offerings are for the peace. Their union is not just for their peace but for larger peace. Then comes varmala where adi plays with her but finally bows. It shows he won't easily become hers but her love will conquer him no matter what. Whereas zoya has surrendered herself to him as she allows him to garland her. Then comes the phere. The panditji says with phere you are joined in the path of duty or karma. Yes their union is for a larger duty. And karma comes before love. But again that karma bandhan is formed with free will and love. Now aditya walks in front. As he walks in front in both the slokas narayan is invoked. One sloka mangalam bhagvan vishnum surrenders all the auspiciouness at Lord narayan's feet. Second tadeiva lagnam sudhinam tadeiva seeks Lord Vishnu's Grace to remove all the inauspiciousness of the day of the lagna and any flaws in the rituals that is happening. I was so happy here. Because narayan with lakshmi in his heart stands for the sustenance of life. He teaches to live a life with principles so that humanity is preserved for life to thrive on this planet. So for life to sustain for peace to happen a man has to follow his teachings most important of which includes respect and love the woman in your life. Aditya has done this but not for the right woman. Hence his worth is not known. Zoya follows aditya,she has followed another man once. But he couldn't give her identity as he couldn't keep her in his heart. Narayan's worth is known only when he is with lakshmi and lakshmi is seen only if she is with narayan. Hence for a good life when aditya walks in front Lord Vishnu is evoked. Now zoya comes in front. And the shanti mantra plays once again. Interesting point is those beats of shanti mantra has nothing to do with shanti. It's the war beats signalling a war to reach the peace. And zoya will lead it for her aditya. Her war will be for her husband but it will bring out many truths. Shanti mantra was played when adi fills zoya maang. Their live is also for shanti or peace. It is much above the normal romance. The ritual closes with mere dil ko as adi put the ms. The whole thing depends on the trust adiya will have for each other. If they don't trust no mantra no ritual can bring the lasting peace. Another interesting aspect was whenever snake was shown they played sarva mangala mangalye invoking goddess Parvati.yes the goddess who held the poison in shiva throat thus saving him as well as the world. Somewhere it felt the universe is asking the goddess to give that power to adiya. So that if aditya has to take poison for her sake let she have the strength to remove it from him for his sake and for world's sake. Let me see it again. Might get more points.

👏very deep analysis di!! I couldnot listen the mantras since i was lost in adiya! But i was wondering tht why they are playing mantras as bgm throughout the wedding!! Cuz on wed precap they played kal ho na ho bgm so i expected tht either the same bgm will be played or the original track or zaroorat bgm! But they completely surprised me with those mantras bgm!!nd now ur explanation gives me clear understanding abt the mantras :)

@kiru even kal ho na ho bgm is mantra. Mangalum bhagvan vishnum. It means all auspicious surrendered at the feet of narayan. It is chanted for marriage. But yesterday all those mantras really made adiya marriage special and divine. Add to that they both looked happy,content and completely lost in each other's love which gave serenity to both their eyes. @lalitha thank u.

Yes nayana anjana thinks zoya is between her and her aditya. But actually aditya is between his wife and mom. Whether attack to his wife or whether question to his mom it has to go through him.
