OK, for me a concert is going to Paul McCartney or Pink Floyd, or Elton John, or similar. Singing in a Temple, by definition may be a concert, but then everyone is a singer. Not trying to be against Jalota but those are the facts.😆

Anup jalota is a legend in bhajans/ghazals. He is called bhajan samrat. If people dont know him, it's sad coz he is a padmashree as well.

And if people are boycotting him because he fell in love then it's a sad state of mind.

I still have respect for him as a musician and as a person.

You are crazy to think these kind of singers come for 10s or 20s. Lol. If a fundraiser is organized, they have to pay for their airfare,stay and atleast $5000. Anup Jalot charges round Rs 5 lakhs per event.

Last month we organised an local community based event with decently famous person(in one state of India) and he charged $3000 per show on a Friday night. His weekend rates were higher. We had to pay for his air fare from Cali and his stay. Anup Jalota is known nationally atleast.

Where in Cali do you live? I'm in Santa Monica... There are barely any Indians in LA. 😭😭 I'm originally from Houston... and its infested there... 😆
