In US we have all kinds of days. Mothers day, fathers day, Thanks giving day, seceretaries day etc. so they thought one day should be dedicated to all the ghouls and ghosts also and they made Halloweens day.

Just an excuse to celebrate. I think they soon gonna make a day for criminals.
