Shah Rukh to reunite with Rani Mukerji in Rakesh Sharma biopic Salute?

Ever since the news of the biopic Salute
on astronaut Rakesh Sharma was
announced, the industry has been abuzz
with developments related to the project.
Shah Rukh Khan is slated to play the role
of the astronaut who became the first
and the only Indian man to travel in
space. One of the biggest speculations
about the project was that who would
be playing the pivotal role of Sharma's
wife in the biopic.
Several names came up right from
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aishwarya Rai
Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, Kangana
Ranaut, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif
and Bhumi Pednekar. However, now as
reported by a trade portal we hear that it
is one of SRK's favourite heroines, Rani
Mukerji, who is being considered for the
pivotal part.

The official announcement is yet to be
made but it will be of interest to see SRK
and Rani team up once again on the
silver screen. The two have previously
given blockbuster films like Kuch Kuch
Hota Hai, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Chalte
Chalte, Paheli, Veer Zaara etc. The film
was supposed to go on floors in October
this year but will now start in 2019.
Salute is directed by Mahesh Mathai and
is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur.

This is such a good news!! Would love to see SRK & Rani together. It's been a while they came together.

OMG Dream COME true. I watch Chalte Chalte like millions of times and keep wondering when they will be paired together. I hope Rani loses weight though. When your short, weight makes you even shorter and fatter.

I'm probably the only one who doesn't like SRK-Rani pairing 😆😆
