Though I concede you the benefit of doubt that you may have misformulated your statement and you didn't mean to lead to such a misconception, I still feel the need to clarify the air. We aren't forbearing toward this disgracious parody made out of history just and only because of Rohit's looks and charms like you stated. He is indeed a good looking man, and I won't tell you the contrary. However, it isn't because he's a fit and well built child of God that whenever he is going to twinkle his green eyes, we would be swooning like bunch of groupies at his feet. What makes him appealing to us is truly him as an actor and how genuinely and realistically he provides to his Alexander's portrayal, the right amount of grace, sensibility, flaws, misdeeds and nuances. The aura he oozes while portraying his character is what truthfully makes him charming and alluring. I was just hit in my ego when I read the following words looks, charms and fanatics. My range of criterias and expectations are much more than simply looks.

For me too, Rohit's talent outweighs anything in the looks department. If he hadn't been so great at playing Alexander I doubt we would have lasted half as long no matter how handsome he looked.

Rajat Tokas is also a good looking actor and I throughly followed Jodhaa Akbar just for his Akbar but when things got overboard with their abla nari, Mahan Jodhaa and self-righteous Jodhaa taking off all the due credits from Akbar, rather that's his achievements in military fields with various wars he won or the great policies he had instilled from a political view. The last straw for me was when Akbar went to abandon his throne and responsibilities to seek for his very khaas begum and gone be all his prestance, self-respect and honour as an Emperor, he rather prefered to embrace all her whims and fallacious accusations toward him when she was the one who was clearly at fault, I was fully done with the bs and had to quit it right away. No matter how much I loved Rajat's Akbar but when you reduce a ruler of a whole and wide nation like Bharat to a mere lovesick puppy, forsaken to his wife's whims, ain't no one having it anymore !

To be honest, for more than a month now, I mostly prefer to read the written updates rather than watch the show online straightaway because I was fearful everytime they might knock off the last brain cells I have left for me. So the written updates it's like a warning. I only watch it when there is some consequential or meaningful scenes from Alexander's side. At any moment if I feel like they crossed my borderline and there is not even a dusk of consistency and dignity left in Alexander's character, ain't no Rohit holding me back from quitting it !

They are probably going to dumb him down like they did with Cleitus and Hephastion so that he looks like a ridiculous videshi that deserves to be ousted, especially after all the supplies he will be bringing will be robbed. Then they can also show that Helen marrying CGM was some evil scheme so that they can justify showing Helen to be a vamp too. 😡
