Kunal didnt tell Nandini hes going to meet Mouli

I feel like now that Kunal and Nandini are out in the open, if they really do love each other then they should be together.

However, I don't understand why Kunal didnt tell Nandini he is going to meet Mouli, he simply tells her that he has to go, its important. This is exactly what happened when he was with Mouli..he never told her he was going to meet Nandini.
