Jokes apart, I agree akshita. The last week was surprisingly beautiful with some good content filled episodes. But... as you say, what came across undigestible for me was Zoya listening to what others say & not voicing out her opinion. Tbh this week Zoya hardly had 10-15 dialogues isn't it? Aditya should be thanked for saving Zoya from almost commiting suicide, stopping her from grieving over her loss by trying to leave everything & going back to Massourie, from facing the harsh truth in life tthat no matter how hard anyone tries, what's not meant to happen will never happen & what not??
Waseem choosing Arshad as a prospective groom for Zoya was solely because he wanted to get rid of Aditya & the Hooda family. If I say it's because he wanted the best for Zoya & make her life beautiful, that's sh**. A good father doesn't force his daughter to do something she doesn't want to do, after Zoya's refusal still he made her meet Arshad, made Zoya go out with that stranger guy during midnight. Had he thought what might happen to a girl in such a situation? It's just her luck that Arshad is a good human (yeah, dumb af but a nice guy 😆)
Where is Zoya's role?! Where is Zoya choosing to not be married because she has a successful career?! If not that, where is Zoya taking her own decisions and not some weak broken abla naari? Where is Zoya actually giving it back to Waseek for constantly insulting Aditya even if she considers him a friend?! Who lets their parents talk to their friends like that?! Where is Zoya owning up to her love and actually standing up for it?!
Zoya, who was anyway planning to back-off from the forced relationship after 2 weeks agreed to get married only due to the sudden confession of love by her 'AZEEZ DOST' Aditya. I felt quite pissed when she was talking about how Adi cheated on her? Excuse me, cheated? Yeah right! Geez she behaved so immature. The independent Zoya had now become a katputli in the correct manner by shaking her head to what others (elders) decide upon her, it's hell weird. Abla naari 🤪 I totally felt what you're saying. She's talking about how Aditya cheated on her being a best friend of hers but when it comes to her besties reputation, she's bl**** numb? Not even a word? She's coming across as a super weak woman, I'm sorry to say too She's says something else & she does nothing for her friend. She just let others speak ill against him.
Girl, I get it. You got cheated on and it was very hard for you, obviously. But now it's been a year. You've gotten to a place where you can be called an independent woman. There are scars, sure. But I want you to stand up and fight through those scars... not hide behind them and act like a freakin statue.
Ykw? What you've said here? It just reminded me of one thing & I've said it for another post too. The day Aditya & Zoya both bid good bye to Poosh & went back their ways, we saw Zoya acting so different, fresh & lively. Unlike the Zoya who was all gloomy, depressed, hopeless & scared. She became freaking independent, carried on with business, won an award but her mind was always pre-occupied with Aditya. Whatever he has doen for her, being supportive to her was what went on her mind & she didn't even realize that her feelings were not that of friendship solely. It was beautiful tbh. But frankly speaking, Aditya is the one who had really moved on.
I really don't think Yash needs to come in a dream or like how Pooja appreared before Adi & tell Zoya that Aditya is her true love, never ever leave him, I wasn't the correct partner for you blah blah.. She still has the scars, I agree. But getting married to someone who you just like for the sake of humanity & not love, even knowing yourself that you won't be able to love him is utter crap. She for gods sake even told Arshad that he can count on her for commitment, seriously?????
Zoya only cries and remains tongue tied these days... how am I supposed to admire or look up to a female protagnist like that?! I'm REALLY hoping that I can eat my words and Zoya stands up against the world for Aditya in the next episode.

It's just that her character has always been like this. Quite immature & unknown from the reality of the world. But now it seems as if she has never changed! Just like how you say, her remaining tongue tied is a quality which makes me get irritated with her characterization. As a female protagonist, she had become strong but only to come back to the state where she was. Last night precap, where they showed Zoya looking devasted & hopeful towards Adi just proved my point that Zoya has ultimately become numb to her own feelings & will not speak for herself & for her love 😕 Ugh, Arshad being mahaan? Couldn't they make the one who has fallen in love speak for herself?? It just feels as if she'll sit there, get herself married to Arshad if Arshad himself won't stand up against the marriage. Isn't this quote lame? It really seems like Zoya is dumb 🥱
Fingers crossed, we finally see a stronger Zoya who can actually stnad up for what is right and the person she loves.
Zoya just whispers, "Abbu" like a chui mui... hopefully she'll say SOMETHING in the episode. Precaps can be misleading.
Just like the promos, this could be misleading but yeah keeping hopes for now is a 50% fine option LOL 😆
This is not me bashing, this is me hoping that we see a stronger side of her character.
