ha ha @prozium you could have informed your friends mother that both 9pm & 9.30pm soaps on Zeetv share same makers, story writers and almost core crew is also the same..hence same things same same hota hai with same story dragging's, same crimes etc...😆 What's strange is some households still seem to be sticking to watch Zeetv from 9pm to 10pm due to their past habit, despite their complaints & boredom, when there are multiple options available on TV in current date unlike few months back..😳
Anyhow I refuse to believe BT team, KKB cast & crew aren't aware of ground level feedback; some of their relatives, friends, other work associates, neighbors even servants like maids, drivers, watch mans etc. do watch Zeetv soaps offline and they may be sharing KKB feedback once in a while..😵so they are surely aware of boredom, flak, dissatisfaction & frustration that KKB tracks/sub-tracks have been receiving from millions of Indian TV viewers for a long time (even if we keep aside their aversion to consider any online or social media outbursts). Despite that they stick to their obsession and go by only certain group part of BARC sample 30,000+ households that's somehow still rewarding them with decent TRPs week on week, and jump to their own assumptions..
If writers brought in a hurried leap with school going kids, when they are about to start teenage love stories of Bunty/Babli overloaded with family & marriage dramas, then may be KKB team has someone else as its target audience (45+ age group) not teenagers, youngsters, adults unlike earlier years?? 😳
