Raman was sitting in his class thinking about ishita.
Raman -aaj ishita ka result aayega and she will finally get admission in university of London. I have been waiting for this day since long. Teen saal ho gaye mujhe yahan aaye, par Ek bhi aisa pal nahi guzra jab Maine usse yaad naa kiya ho. I missed her every damn second, from the first day when I came here till today, I missed her every damn second. And finally after three long years, which seems like three centuries, I could finally see my gudiya. Pata nahi kaisi lagti hogi. It's three years since I saw her. Ab toh intezaar hi nahi ho raha, bas lag raha hai ki woh aa jaaye and I just hug her tight. He said and smiled.
It has been three years since Raman has come to London. The first few days were terrible for him as he was terribly missing his family and mostly ishita. He was always busy in calls, talking to ishita or his mother.
Slowly one month passed but still raman couldn't concentrate on his studies making ishita and his family worried.he always talk about coming back.
So ishita decided to stop talking to him everyday and told same to him. At first he was very angry on ishita for taking such harsh decision. They even had a heated argument. Raman hung the call and determined to start studying hard.
The harsh decision of ishita become fruitful and raman start working hard like before. He got gelled up well in his studies and decided not to go back till he complete his studies as that will distract him again. In the mean time, ishita too studied hard and topped her twelve exams. She start preparing for medical. And today her admission was about to be locked. She has given exams of various universities in her parent's insistence but her preference was London university as she want to be with raman.
The day passed in a jiffy and soon it was night. All went to sleep while Raman was wide awake and was pacing to and fro in tension not getting her call till now. He was not able to wait anymore but sadly he don't have any other option other then waiting for the call.
Finally after fifteen minutes, his phone rang and he smiled fully seeing her number. He picked it in a go and said -what happened??
Ishita -mera admission ho gaya, I have to join in a week.
Raman smiled fully and said -finally u r coming to me, I am so happy that finally after three years I can see u thouroughly and we can finally live together in this city. He said and heard ishita's sob.
Raman -kya hua gudiya, why u r crying.
Ishita -mera admission London mein nahi, Beijing mein hua hai. I am going to Beijing not London.
Raman got shocked hearing this and said -beijing, but why I mean how??
Ishita -amma don't wanted to send me to u, so she did all this. Mujhe nahi samajh mein aa raha ki main kya karun. Itne saalon se iss pal ka intezaar kar rahi thi aur jab yeh waqt aaya, this happened. I am just so disheartened, Raman. She said crying making him sad too.
Raman was all silent when ishita said -kuch toh boliye,raman.
Raman -i am coming.
Ishita -please come soon, Raman. She said crying.
Raman -dont cry, main aa raha hoon. He said and hung the call. He called his mother and informed the same. She got too happy and said that she was also disturbed by this decision of madhavi. He talk to his father and he too assure raman that they will talk about it.
Raman took the next flight and reached Delhi. He called his parent from the airport only and told them to come to Ishita's house. Toshiji insisted him to come home first but he requested them to come to ishita's house first. Mr bhalla agreed knowing his condition and finally left for Ishita's house.
After an hour, Raman entered the house and saw a girl sitting silently wearing a pink salwar suit. It didn't take him a minute to recognise who is she. He walked to her and said -gudiya.
Ishita raise her head hearing gudiya and saw him standing infront of her. She got up at once and said -raman.
He nodded with moist eyes and said cupping her face -kaisi ho??
Ishita hugged him tight and cried. He too hugged her back and cried.
Ishita -maine aapko bahut miss kiya, Raman. I missed u so much. She was crying and saying while he was caressing her back consoling her.
Raman kissed her temple and she closed her eyes feeling his touch.
Raman -i too missed u alot, bahut miss kiya tumhe Maine. He said and picked her in his arms in happiness.
They broke the hug and look at each other smiling. Raman was wearing a blue shirt with black trousers, wearing spects, his hair was nicely gelled and was looking too handsome.
Ishita smiled fully and said -aap bahut handsome ho gaye hai.
Raman too took at her thourougly and said -aur tum bahut khoobsurat. U have grown up into my beautiful queen from my cute doll. He said and hugged her tight again. Ishita too smiled and hugged him back resting her head on his chest. They hugged each other tight for long when they heard someone coughing.
Ishra broke the hug and saw her parent standing there. Raman went to them and touched their feet. They blessed raman and appa said -u have grown up into a handsome man, u r not longer any boy.
Raman -thank appa.
Amma -aise achanak.
Raman -aana pada amma, yeh jaan kar ki aap log mujh par Aap bhi bharosha nahi karte, aana pada.
Amma look down and said -its not like that, Raman. She was saying when they heard, Raman.
Raman and all turn and saw bhallas standing there. They were too happy seeing raman after such a long time. Though Mr bhalla went to meet him in between but toshiji and his sisters were seeing him after such a long time.
Toshiji's eyes filled seeing raman after so long while simmi and rinki ran to him happily. They almost jumped on him and he hugged his sisters tightly.
Trio hugged for long and then toshiji hugged Raman tight. She cried resting her head on Raman's chest.
After sometime, all were sitting together, help served the snacks and tea but no-one was neither eating nor talking.
At last raman said -aapne kyun kiya aisa, amma. Aapko mujh par vishwas nahi tha. Gudiya ko Itni dur akele bhej sakti hai aap, par mere paas nahi. Itna saa bhi vishwas nahi hai mujh par. I know humne galti ki thi but hum bachche the uss samay. Now we r grown up. We know our limitations well.
Amma -aisi baat nahi hai kanna.
Raman -toh kaisi baat hai amma.
Amma -i know I shouldn't say this, but hamare village ki Ek ladki, bhaag gayi Ek ladke ke saath. Pure gaon mein bahut beizatti hui, aur uske parent ne suicide kar liya. I know tum dono aise nahi ho but kanna, Aap dono youngster ho.kabhi galti ho gayi toh, Aap dono bhi gunahgaar ho jaoge aur hamara bhi sab kuch khatam ho jayega. That's why I did all this. Main tum dono ko alag nahi karna chahti thi but saath bhi nahi chod sakti.beti ki maa hoon
Raman came close to amma and said holding her hand -i am understanding ur point amma. Aapka darr sahi hai but for that sending ishita to a complete new country, is it good. Aisi jagah jahan woh kuch nahi jaanti hogi, even jahan ki language bhi totally different hai. Aisi jagah usse bhejna sahi hai kya. Aap mere saath London nahi bhejna chahti, OK. But aisi jagah mat bhejiye jahan adjust Karna bahut mushkil ho. U r worried about ur prestige but not about her security. Koi hai jisse Aap jaanti hai wahan, he asked to which amma nodded.
Raman -woh kaise adjust karegi, Aap bolo, is it right. Aap trust nahi hai naa mujh par, OK don't trust blindly.just tell me what I should do to make u trust me for ishita. Main aisa kya karun ki aap mujh par trust kar lein and let her go with me to London to pursue her studies. He was asking when amma said -marry her, making everyone shocked along with ishra.
