TRP 3.1, slips to number two show of ZeeTV.

Kumkum Bhagya BARC impression sees major drop of 6761 [3.07TRP] from 7529 [3.42TRP], this week in Urban chart. BARC overall impression sees further decrease to 11229 from 12529 and Rural impression is 4469.

Episodes reviews - Nikhil tries to romance Tanu. Tanu confesses, she loves Abhi. Kaira in Police station and gives testimony. King learns about Chandelier's truth. Abhi takes Pragya to King's Mansion. Kaira tells Pragya about the accident.

We had no Major promos in Week 34. Kumkum Bhagya re-runs takes second spot in Overall chart this week with impressive 12553 impression [5.7TRP].

IT WAS BOUND TO DECREASE THIS WEEK. LAST WEEK HALF EPISODE WAS FILLED WITH BORING HOSPITAL DRAMA.

Last few weeks something is steadily happening with Starplus shows & sample urban household viewers? 😊 most SP daily soaps plus weekend shows impressions phenomenally been on rise in BARC charts..after so so long SP been maintaining no.1 hindi GEC for nearly a month that too with huge margins over Colors & Zeetv but prime time daily soaps of SP still being very much the same, except for some high points & drama plots...(YRKKH overtaking KDB steadily)..not to forget they haven't yet launched new dailies in pipeline like KZK etc. 😛


Here jaded KKB on Zee which lost its essence also seem to be getting some competition at 9pm slot after long time as Krishna on SP and newly launched fantasy Alladdin on Sabtv shown fairing well on BARC charts (both are avg budget soaps), and now high ticket KBC season 10 with Big B is launching from Mon at same 9pm slot on Sonytv.. so all the very best to Zeetv their team have been losing narrative of Aaj likhenge kal, branding, promotions, audience connect and grip on content of exiting soaps.. along with keeping most weekend slots empty...
Hope their new low budget daily soaps launching in Sep can grab steady attention and stick to original concepts..

Arre yaar, rural viewers seem to be more sensible than urban viewers!!😆 Their numbers are lower.

Rural numbers are always less when compared to urban..that gap is always there.. They always show their resent when track is not nice..urban folks seem to be more addicted😃

If we observe last couple of years BARC Rural charts, its has been same pattern.. popular dailies/weeklies telecast on paid hindi channels for fresh episodes mostly record much lesser impressions than the repeated episodes of old soaps telecast on free channels.. 😊hints that most rural sample households still rely on free tv for entertainment at prime time, and not paid channels since Zee Anmol, Star Utsav & Sony Pal are still most watched channels in rural regions..
