I mean what the hell is wrong with the CVS of the show. The show promised to show Mard ka Naya Swaroop. But is this really the Mard ka Naya Swaroop we are looking for.
What's the difference between shamsher and Ishika?

Shamsher wants Roop to become Droga by forcing him and my God Roop is on the way to become Droga not because of his father but because of the FL 🤔.

What about his own dreams??

Should we also somehow blame Kamla, since she also said she cant wait for him to become a Police inspector too. 🤔

And in which scene did Roop say he is going to become a Inspector because of Ishika? or did he even imply that or the show did?

Or when did Ishika force him like Shamsher to become a inspector...? Far as she thinks, it's what he wants to do (and said all the best...)

So where is this difference business coming from? in SS and Ishika!

Even Himani is saying, hey Roop - good luck, should we also put blame on her 🤔

All Roop said is that Ishika gave him some motivation him for the race and a driving force and beyond that... and that he felt good in winning... despite him not wanting to win at all.
That he felt happy, he felt good in a victory, and seeing his parents happy. He feels having her presence gives him a driving force and to go forward, to look ahead and not get left behind.

And doing his best or winning would of made Roop felt alot better then having the strain or guilt of thinking how he purposely lost or failed.

Even if Roop passes all the test, in doing as best as he can... it still does not mean he will be a inspector (or somehow will solely be for Ishika, his FL lol).

I want to see Roop do well, best as he can - Not just purposely make himself fail.
I also want him to pursue his passion - Hotel Management, but he is someone who is caught in between - what his father wants and what he wants. His mother is someone who wants to support both.

Mard Ka Naya swaroop is still there... he is showing by not being a typical male lead character and being about women empowerment etc! (i still feel there is more to come in this concept - questioning patriarchal beliefs)
And also standing up/supporting his mother, sisters & even Ishika (if she was in trouble or just understanding her as a person) and whoever else .
Another example when Ishika says something like Do you think career goals is a joke or are you here for timepassing... he actually thinks on that instead of focusing on how she said or her tone... that's the difference in Roop.

Jumping into conclusion is what I see in this post. I guess you clearly missed the sentence where roop said today this will be Ishu last congrats bc he won't become a police officer. She has no idea what he is about. First see the scene, wait for the twist rather finding ways to blame FL 😆

Kamal came to his room and told him she wants him to success in other task so we should say she is forcing him to become what he don't want to right? Himani and her hubby was cheering for roop so they also are like shamsher. Rather then finding a reason to blame a FL wait to what cvs will do bc no matter what he will fulfill his dreams he is dame passionate about that.

Well isn't it too obvious that when Ishika said to Roop that she will congrats him and eat sweets from him the day he will become Droga😛

Yaa becos he himself offered her sweets of his win and then she said that she will accept it and congrats him when he will clear all the exams...how come she will know what's his actual problem? How come she will know how he's been pressurised for the same...she is just having a straight POV regarding the current scenario where roop is seen participating in all the competitions for becoming a police officer...is she the one who forced him to become one? No! It's shamsher who forced him...
She is just having an opinion...his willigness or nonwilligness for the exma has got nothing to do with her...

i dont think ishika even behave like female lead .
i dont like her attitude that she knows all !

roop will do hotel management only i think .hope he listen to palak ,focus on his dream and dont become cop just to prove ishika he can .i know he will not do that as he is not a fool to do so .
he is passionate about his career .

he wrote song in exam paper to fail 😆

i want rooplak to be main lead and show different defination of friendship and true love 😳.
no offense to anyone here ! my view !

roop is just attracted to ishika .its nowhere love ! he is attracted to her from first sight he saw her .

I never understood what 'mard ka naya swaroop' has got to do with hotel management. Esp since hotel management tends to be a male-dominated area anyways. The only message that comes from Roop pursuing hotel management is the idea of following one's own dreams rather than father's dreams.

The 'mard ka naya swaroop' tagline made sense pre-leap esp with Roop having likes and preferences for things that would have been considered as traditionally female preferences. But this concept is completely lost post-leap and has become more about one's dreams vs father's dreams. Currently, post-leap, I think Himani's husband represents the tagline a lot more than Roop does. I mean Roop is indeed a good man who respects woman, etc but nothing about the current tracks for Roop actually represent anything revolutionary or out of the ordinary.

I have always felt the main aspect/element will be when Roop gets married, the tagline and questioning patriarchal beliefs and so on, will be more relevant then ever to that.
How as a husband will Roop be and does things and for/against certain aspects and questions. Along with his wife!!

Hence why i always said Roop and Ishika might have somewhat different personality characteristics/traits but outlook & views are same on women rights/empowerment, standing up and supportive to things they are similar etc! (and questioning patriarchal beliefs too)
And the parallel lives scenes they have. Two families, two households, the same sort of conflicts in both to an extent.
