Former politician and actress J Jayalalithaa will always be remembered for her strong appearances and charisma. It was recently announced that the biopic on Jayalalitha is in making and is all set to release in 2019. The first look will be released on Jayalalitha's birth anniversary i.e on 24 Feb 2019. Ever since Jayalalithaa's demise, there has been a lot of speculations on who can play her on the big screen, if a biopic is being made on her. Now that it is confirmed, there have been lots of speculations on who would play the lead.

Last year, after Jayalalitha had passed away, an interview of her to Simi Garewal in 1999, had gone viral. During the interview, Jayalalithaa had said that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would be suitable to play her on screen.
