He is genuinely nice and people can sense it. Resul Pookooty thanked him recently too for his generosity towards the Kerala floods. He never mentions it himself and he never bothers normal people to donate money like some other celebrities do.

A politician tweeted that SRK donated 5 crores for the Kerala floods. His Meer Foundation also donated 21 lakhs.

But more than that, SRK has awesome fans. SRK Universe donated 1 lakh themselves and small fan groups all sent blankets and other relief supplies. They also regularly visit old age homes and feed poor people and hold blood drives.
