Raman put ishita in car and drive towards the hospital , she was screaming in pain while Raman was consoling her time to time . He was driving fastly when ishita felt immense pain and she screamed with all her might , Raman got worried and stopped the car . He looked at ishita and asked caressing her hairs softly " ishita tum theek to ho na."
I- no I m not , it's paining a lot, you please take me to hospital .
R- ok ok , I m taking you don't worry , nothing will happen . We are just reaching .
Saying so he started driving the car , caressing her in between and consoling her that everything will be ok. They reached the hospital , he stopped the car and ran inside picking her in his arms . The attendant ran to him with stretcher on his sight , he lays ishita down in it and she was taken to emergency ward . Ishita was holding his hand while he too was caressing her hairs softly, consoling her that she shouldn't get worried . Ishra were in the room , ishita was tossing and turning in room while Raman was trying to pacify her . He was trying to consold her by sometimes caressing her hairs, sometimes rubbing her tummy , that's when the doctor showed up . Raman stood straight on doctors sight and spoke worridly " mam she is having immense pain and her due date is after ten days , baby theek to hoga na".
Doctor looked at ishita then Raman and spoke " you don't worry , though it's not the due date but as it's ninth month , the baby is fully matured , you don't worry your wife and baby will be alright, now can you excuse us for a while, I need to do her check up ".
Raman nodded and went out. He sat in the bench and tried to be calm but he was shivering out of fear recalling ishita's state . He has seen pregnant ladies, like every body knows he too know that the ladies get immense pain before delivering a baby but he was very much scared after seeing ishita state , moreover she has banged with wall and her labour pain before date has scared him more . He was still sitting on the bench and was eagerly waiting for doctor to come out and tell about ishita's state , he thought to inform their parents , thinking so he took out his phone , he dialled his mother number too but same time the doctor came out and informed " listen your wife's water bag has burst and we are taking her to Labour room immediately, we can't wait any more . "
Raman nodded and spoke " do as per yourself doc but ishita and baby should be safe "
The doctor nodded and went to her cabin while a nurse came to Raman and gave him a list of medicines, injections and other necessary things for the delivery . Raman took it and ran to medical stirs in the hospital itself . Soon he brought the medicine and ishita was taken to Labour room. He wanted to meet her once before the procedure starts but was feeling bit awkward and stopped thinking about ishitas state as they are close but not physically and may be ishita don't like his presence in labour room .
Thinking so he sat outside and waited for the delivery , soon the doctor went inside . It was about five minutes when the delivery started when he received his mother's call asking about his whereabouts.He informed her about everything and also told him to tell everything to iyers . Toshiji nodded and hung the call , she informed Mrs iyer about everything and both the parents made their way towards the hospital . On the other hand Raman was waiting eagerly for baby's birth as he wanted to hold him first and of their parent will come , he is not going to get the chance . He prayed to matarani for ishita and baby's wellness as well as baby's birth before their parents arrival .
As if matarani listened him , soon he listened the cry of baby , he got happy listening to it and started waiting more eagerly for him to come out . He was waiting when he received his father call asking where they are , Raman informed him about the Labour room and told where they are in hospital , his father told him that they had reached and is coming to the place soon .Raman face fell hearing this thinking that they are not bringing baby out and as their parents had arrived ishita's mother will surely hold the baby first .He sat there with a sad face , that's when he saw their parents along with mihir turned towards the corridor in which end the Labour room was , they were still about five minutes distance .That's when the nurse came out and gave the baby to Raman, all witnessed, a weird for them but beautiful scene . They saw the nurse giving the baby to Raman and congratulating him ,"congratulations sir you have become father , beta hua hai ."
Saying so she handed the baby to Raman while the happiness of holding the baby first was quite evident on his face . He thanked matarani for fulfilling his wish and had just kissed the baby's forehead when their family reached to him .Amma took the baby from him while toshiji glared him . He shrugged toshiji eyes and asked the nurse
" how is ishita ".
N - she is alright, you can meet her after sometimes .
Saying so the nurse was gone inside while toshiji asked getting bit upset " Raman why didn't you informed us before bringing ishita here ".
R- ma she was in couch pain , screaming like anything , I was not able to see her like that , to mujhe no sahi laga , that's what I did . Moreover I had told the watchman to inform you all , how careless of you aunty , how can you even leave ishita alone in house in that condition .
He scolded Mrs iyer for which she spoke " you are right that kanna , hai to go gayi mujhse but ishita was alright when I went leaving her . I can't Thank you enough for being with her every time ".
R- no need to thank me aunty , it's ok , ishita is my...
He was yet to complete his sentence when , they saw them ishita shifting to the ward .Raman left his sentence in mid and all followed them till the ward .Ishita was sleeping while all were holding baby one by one , Raman eyes were on ishita and mihir's eyes were on him . He was observing Raman and his behaviour keenly trying to understand Raman's feelings for ishita and her baby.
