Adi hated Pooja for painting Yash's portraits because that was something that was only between him and Pooja. Adi hated Pooja for going grocery shopping with Yash because that's again something that was only between him and her.

Pooja always used to blame him for not remembering her birthday and anniversary. He may not remember these but he does remember the small moments like grocery shopping and painting because of his feelings involved in them. Those are the best moments of his life when she painted his portraits or went for shopping with him and when she did the same with someone else, he felt she shared those moments with someone else. This is the reason Adi came to conclusion that Pooja was cheating on him. For us, these things might be small but for Adi, they are everything. His feelings and emotions are bound by these moments that he spent with Pooja.

Now the same thing is happening with him again. Adi has spent some very beautiful moments with Zoya while eating noodles and when he saw Zoya sharing the plate of noodles with someone else, he felt she too is sharing those moments with him. It's not about the noodles, it's about the feelings.

Pooja didn't understand Adi's feelings because these are daily routine stuff and didn't care for Adi when she did these with Yash. As Adi said in his speech, "Love is there in every minute routine things but Love should not be made a minute routine thing." This is what Pooja did with Adi.

Today, Zoya didn't understand Adi's feelings but I am sure next time she will again get a chance to eat noodles from the same plate with Arshad and at that time, she will understand Adi's feelings and will refuse to eat them.
