" HAPPY BIRTHDAY "... Maan blank out as soon as he hear the loud roar of people or say children... He looked around trying to confirm if he came in right house . But seeing Geet's smiling face ,loudly singing happy birthday with others that ressured him it's his home only .
First he thought it must be dream or something, his home full of people looking at him happily, it can't be his home . When the last time he experienced it , yes his last 9th birthday with his family ,when her mother arranged every thing. He blinked few times to stop showing overwhelming emotions , as all children came running to him wishing cutely . He looked at Geet who smiling with all are love she has for him . And after that he forget everything and joined others . Geet dragged him to cut cake ... more than eating his wife played with it , she rubbed cake on his face...not just him Meera ,Jai , Adi and Pinky too joined in . He couldn't help but joined them doing same cake play , for few moments he became 9 years carefree old boy . His sacred face or fear of crowd gone in a moment .
Dadima hugged him wiping her tears " Happy birthday beta "
" thank you Dadima "
" yeh sab ! "
" Apki biwi ne Kiya hai ...don't blame me "
" I know only she can do this ..."
" to make you happy " Dadima finished his words looking at Geet who busy playing with children ... " Geet ko pata hai ap apni birthday nehi banate...aur nahi ap dusro ke sath jayada comfortable honge ..so she invited her students . See even she left job those children didn't forget their favourite teacher . Bas ek call kiya sab chale aaye " ...
" woh sabke liye precious hai Dadima "
" par unke liye ap precious hai..chahe ap kahi bhi pouch jaye Maan..Geet ke liye hamesha unke Trippl H hi rahenge.. Maan Singh Khurana nehi..." Maan first taken aback by Dadima's serious tone as she always only teased with that name but he did understand what Dadima trying to say ...
" wherever I reach Dadima I will be always your son and Geet's husband not MSK " ... their talk interrupt as Geet's family members came forward wishing him ...
He touched her mother's feet but Rano hugged him as she couldn't stop crying ... " humesha khush rehna .. we always wish your happiness, you deserve it . We didn't mean ..."
" Ma ap " Maan felt odd , seeing her getting so emotional but before he could asked Dadima announced dinner time so everyone went to eat .

" not bad , it was best party Geetu " Meera took another piece cake but before she could eat Jai snatched it from her ..
" Jaiii ..."
" What Gents first ..." she shoot dagger toward him but that's not needed as Maan came toward them his cake got stuck in his mouth. Jai met Maan few times and somehow his physics do made him littel conscious ...
" Happy Birthday jiju "
" ah let's not wish more , I'm not baby you know " he smiled at Geet who came to his side ...
" aww my hubby for one day it good to be baby " she pulled his check kissing his eye affectionately.
Jai smiled ..no matter how much he teased Geet, he knows his friend deserve best and do doubt the man before him best from all . Meera eyes him and both went from there giving them privacy.
" so that's why my beautiful wife left me hot in bed this morning "
" Maannn "
she couldn't help but blushed at his teasing . This so new , his open declaration of love ,his touching kissing before others, she needs little time to adjust ..not that she complains .
" I fallen for you again ..."
" I thought you love me .." she smirked " or it was a lie "
" no not lie . It's just I can't help fallen for you everyday , every moment. As day passed I feel last day love not enough .. you are so precious " he kissed her hair hugging as if his life depend on this .
From morning only he knows how he was feeling . Her going away like this didn't please him at all . He addicted to her talk , her smile her everything . No matter what this addiction going deep . He inhale softly to take her smell .
" Thank you.. one of my best birthday "
After her mother died he never celebrated it . All feel useless when his father too start neglecting him . Even he didn't allow to attend his step brother Dev's birthday because his step mother said it would look bad . As time goes, for him birthday doesn't exist , it's like usual day . If not his Dadima he would have forgeetn his birth date . Just like today , he forgot but his wife surprised him .
" don't be so emotional Mr ... it's not for you . Woh kya hai na I'm selfish ...see mere saare bache aaye hai ..i got a chance to meet them . So you see its for my benefit. "
she winked going away as one littel girl wants to go washroom . Maan shake his head in disbelief . No matter what she says , he knows this celebration is for his happiness she just masking it casually . But seeing her with all students he couldn't help but felt guilty. She always gives priority to him , his wish , can he do something for her happiness ?

" Rano yeh sab kya hai .. Maine kaha tha na jo hogaya woh hogaya... kisiki galti nehi thi ... "
" janti hoon bas apni beti ki khushi ko dekhke daar gayi , woh itni khush hai ... par agar damadji ko yeh pata chala..."
" nehi pata chalega...i promised you na " Dadima tried to make her understand and not to do any mistake ... seeing her Maan so happy she already made her mind . Why would she bring any past to ruin this beautiful future ? Some truth better to hidden forever . She scolded Rano and told her to forget everything. They were so engrossed it talking that didn't realise someone's presence behind them .

Alisha clenched her fist to get rid of her nervousness. She looked at KM door and took one step , but again stopped . It's Maan's birthday and she didn't even know it . May be she would never knows it if she didn't read the message from Adi's phone . From that time she made up her mind to wish him . He close to her, so she believes Maan won't mind seeing her in his home uninvited .
She went in and saw hall empty but in one corner two old lady talking . She couldn't find anyone so went toward them ...
After making Rano understand she asked her to go upstairs. As she turned around noticed a girl standing there with strange expression .
" woh saare bacha Geet ke sath upor hai ..please take a sit ..i will call her "
she thought she may be mother of Geet's student...but then something clicked as she looking familiar to someone .
Alisha came forward " uum namaste woh.. bache ? main nehi .."
" What are you doing here ? " all of a sudden Dadima's tone changed ..." kisne bulaya apko yaha "
Alisha felt odd , no one ever talked to her that way " ji main Alisha Woh Maan ke office pe..."
" I know you Ms Alisha Jaiswal . But why are you here ? How dare you take my grandson name " Dadima was literary glaring making Alisha uncomfortable .
" how do you know me...? " she try to remember if she met her before . " apko mera naam kaise.."
" why don't I know the girl name whom father insulted my son " ..
Dadima's word like alien to her . She doesn't get head and tail of anything . " papa Maan ko insult ? ... I think you must be mistaken ..papa doesn't even meet Maan..ap " she confused trying to recall of her father ever took Maan name and she sure she never heard to anything . " Me and Maan are friends from college and now I work with him , he never meet my father I think ..."
" I'm not mistaken .. I never forget the girl and her father who rejected my son because of his look , insulted his upbringing, not just that who doesn't even care for a minutes to break promise "
" just go and never come back " Alisha went numb , very hurt by Dadima's behaviour . But she despaterly wanted to clear misunderstanding after all she is Maan's grandma . " trust me I really .."
" you really think I don't understand your trick. 7 years ago your father rejected Maan saying his beautiful daughter doesn't deserve my son because nor he has look or huge luxury like him ..now when my son is successful he sent his daughter to make peace wah . That day I begged, I cried to fulfill my late daughter in law's wish . But he rejected my proposal on my face .."
" proposal ? rejection?.. Maan aur mera rishta.. hum " so many unknown fact ..its shaken her . She was not aware of anything .' Maan wanted to marry me , that's mean he loved me but papa ' her thoughts break as Dadima told her to go again...
" look girl I don't have anything aganist you . But what your father did I can never forget . I could have forgotten those if he said those to me but he insulted my son infront of me ..i can never forgive him . "
" Dadima trust me I don't know any of this ...aplog mere ghar pe I don't even know " her eyes wet up ..she feeling miserable with this revelation . Maan and her marriage , they were in each other destiny but her father destroyed it .
Dadima littel soften seeing her tears . She doesn't want to be that harsh but it's about Maan she couldn't control . She can still remember that day when she went to Mr Jaiswal home with marriage proposal . That time their business was not shinning..they were trying to survive with completion. And JJ indrusty was very high . But never in her dreams she thought Mr Jaiswal will insult her grandson this way . She didn't went there for any business benefit ..she just tried to make the promise true which Maan's mom did to Alisha's mother . Both were friend but as both lady gone that promises forgotten . But Dadima didn't forget it , to her surprise Mr Jaiswal laughed at her face . He didn't care for his late wife wish and like a practical man turned down Dadima with harsh words .
" are you out of your mind ? Don't think I'm fool I saw your grandson oncc . It was so hard to look at him just one time and there you want me to marry off my daughter to that ugly man . Even if he will be the last man in world I would never let my daughter life ruin by marrying her with him . "
That day when she came home she couldn't escape from Maan. She didn't tell him detail but he understood by looking at her sad eyes . Another rejection , he tried to talk casually but Dadima knew how terrible he must be felt . From childhood he getting only rejection .. whatever Dadima tried to do, she couldn't prevent others to hurt her son . Her beautiful son who never accepted by anyone ..not by father or not the relation which his mother wanted . She knew that day again Maan broke more .. loathe himself more . It was not about his marriage but his late mother's wish which he couldn't fulfil...he only blamed himself not anyone .
Dadima composed herself recalling those hard days but this time didn't brust on Alisha like before .. " look Alisha what done is done but now stay away from my grandson . I don't want him near those who thinks low about him . Just go and don't come back ,here is nothing for you. Your father broken your mother promise and cut ties with us so better you too forget those . "
Alisha joined hand to ask forgiveness as tears not stopping... Dadima felt bad and hold her hand nodding no . She now in sense and felt bad for shouting like this . She was never so harsh to anyone but everyone has some weakness . Her is Maan . She saw Maan's suffering because of this reason . Their encounter so unexpected that she couldn't stop her emotion and carried away by anger .
" dekhiye mujhe apse aase baat nehi karni chahiye thi . I think you not aware of anything . I shouldn't blame you for your father's doing . Your mother and my daughter in law wanted Maan and yours marriage but your father rejected it . Tell you honest hume ab koyi farak nehi partha . My son's fate was not with you but Geet . Shayed yehi tha takdir ki marji .. jo hota hai acche ke liye hota hai , Geet is perfect for my Maan, bas hum woh saare baate bhul nehi pate ,jo Maan ko bola gaya ...after all im his mother " Dadima gave her small smile ... " I hope you understand me "
Alisha nodded still trying to digest all things. Before Dadima said more Nakul called her from behind and told her about desert which is ready for guest . " accha tum jao mein aati hoon . And Alisha tum ..." Dadima turned around but found her gone from there .
