Ishita completed the letter and closed her eyes , trying to suppress her sadness but she couldn't and it flows out from her eyes in form of tears which she tried to stop but they didn't stopped . Mihika went closer to her and pressed her shoulder to console while ishita hugged her tight and cried her heart out . Mihika too engulfed her fully in her arms and patted her caressing her hair lovingly . They were still talking when they heard a man voice.
PI - you people please move out , we need to take the patient's statement.
All turned and saw police inspector along with two constable was standing there .
He again repeated, all started moving out of the room slowly while the inspector walked to ishita and spoke " madam don't you know suicide is a criminal offence , you know you can be arrested for attempting suicide ".
I - I very well know sir , but you need to know that people attempt suicide only when they find dying easy then living . Mere saamne bhi koi aur raasta nahi tha, that's why I opted for this .
PI- yeah we had got your suicide note and as per it we have arrested Ashok and Raman bhalla both .Ashok bhalla for molesting you and Raman bhalla for mentally harassing you .
I - sir can you do me a favour .
PI - yeah tell me .
I- sir I m giving my statement against Ashok bhalla who tried to molest me , I want him to get punished but can you leave Raman .
PI- why , because he is your husband.
I - no sir , because I want to give him bigger punishment than jail .
PI- bigger punishment than jail , are you going to kill him .I m warning if something happened to him , I will arrest you without any evidence .
I - no sir , itni himmat nahi hai mujhe that I can kill the love of my life . You leave him, I assure you he will not kill him .
PI- I m amazed with India's woman , on one hand they are sad and been troubled by her husband and on other hand they don't want them to be arrested or punished . It's true only woman have that patience and tolerance to go through everything and then also she has heart to forgive a man .
I- no sir you are mistaken , for a change he will not get apology so soon .
PI- I don't know what are you going to do but I warn you don't take law in your hand , for that we are there .
I- thank you so much sir .
The cop went out of the room and everybody again came inside . Toshiji asked " ishita you are coming home na, dekh we have send both of them to jail ".
I- thank you so much mummyji for being a mother figure in that house . It was you and shagun because of whom, I managed to live in that house for these days but not anymore , main us ghar mein nahi rah paaungi mummyji , you go , Raman would be reaching home anytime .
T- Raman ?
I- yes mummyji , I hadn't given any statement again Raman , so he is free , unhe koi sazaa nahi hogi , he will be with you .
T- when you had forgiven Raman then you too come home and start afresh with him puttar .
I- no mummyji, I hadn't forgiven him , or say I cannot forgive him , because he has broken my trust , he has cheated me after loving me .He should get punishment either in future everyone will easily cheat anyone on name of love thinking that the girls are fool, they forgive so easily overlooking their wounds .
S- I in dersgood your plea ishita but aise door door rah kar Kya faayda , I mean I m not saying you to forgive him and be with him happily but saying that be near him so that he can woo you .
Ishita folded her hands in front of toshiji and shagun and spoke " mummyji , shagun aap log please chale jaao yahaan se , I can't deny you people again and again ,and I m actually not in a condition to patch up with Raman, sorry mummyji but mujhse nahi hoga ye .
Mihika looked at toshiji and spoke " aunty leave her with us , let her stay with us for somedays then may be her mind will change and she will get back to your house ".
T- do whatever you think is right as I can't pressurise her much because it's my son fault that I m witnessing this day .
She then kept her hand on ishita's head and spoke blessing her " hamesha khus rah puttar , the door of my house will always remain open for you , you can come back whenever you feel like coming to your house ".
Ishita didn't spoke anything while shagun and toshiji left the place . After they left ishita looked at her father and asked " appa will you take me to your house ".
Mr iyer sat beside ishita and spoke " what are you asking kanna , that's your house only , you can come whenever you want . Why are you asking for it ".
Listening to this ishita burst into tears , hugging her father tight, he too hugged her back apologizing for abandoning her totally Soon mihir completed the formalities and iyers went to iyer house with ishita . On the other hand inspector went to police station and freed Raman . He was confused as asked why he freed him, listening to which the inspector informed him that ishita had not given any statement against him. Raman got surprised listening to him and spoke " no inspector she should have told something against me , aap yaad karo . Aise kaise usne kuch nahi kaha , she had gone through much because if me , so what she didn't said anything, I m telling na . You arrest me , I m do fessknv my crime, I had tortured her much , Maine ishita we shaadi ki and never loved her back . I broke her heart , she was crying and I was enjoying with my friends . Yeah it was my brother who tried to force her , I couldn't protect her being her husband . Inspector, I have done much crimes to get punished , arrest me inspector arrest me ."
PI- yes Mr Raman you had actually done a big crime by cheating a girl , breaking her heart and trust but unfortunately there is not any punishment in our law for that . We are done with you , now you are free from law , you can go to freely to your house .
Raman didn't said anything else and went out from the police station , his father has come to pick him . Raman saw his father and spoke " I m so sorry papa , your name got ruined because of me ".
Mr bhalla- no puttar not you but k should eat sorry to you, as this all has happened because of me , I had never stopped people for doing anything , it's me who had never stopped you both brothers for doing anything wrong .
R- papa how is ishita .
Mr bhalla - she is ok , but...
R- but what ... Kya hua use .
Mr bhalla - she is not coming to our house .
R- then where she went.
Mr bhalla - may be with her parents .
R- aise kaise may be , you should have at least seen where she went .
Saying so he called mihir and asked about ishita , mihir told everything breaking Raman's heart . He saw his father and spoke " papa you go home , I will come afterwards ".
Mr bhalla - but Raman you are looking so broken , I can't leave you like this .
R- you don't worry about me papa, I m capable of taking care of myself , main maroonga nahi , I will be ok , just want to be alone for sometimes.
Mr bhalla nodded and went from there leaving Raman while he started walking on the road aimlessly .
