Could it be a combination of two tracks ?

So today we saw that the letter fell from Adi's pocket. I though of a probable scenario where Zoya reflects some part of the earlier night and assumes that Aditya wanted to tell her that he loves somone.

Arshad makes an entry and Aditya backs off. He plays along that I love someone.

So Zoya with force getting her from both sides realises that she feels a lot more for Aditya. She figures Arshad can't even be a friend let alone a life partner.

Aditya liking a girl means sharing him with her and that irks her.

Actually Zoya will realise her love when she will be distant from adi.. esp cos she is forced to be with arshad..she will miss adi or find opposites with arshad.. only that will make her realise that it's just not friendship.. and arshad seems like a likely villian between them.. looks like it will take a while cos Waseem is yet another villian here between adiya and Noor Arjun as well.. may be Noor Arjun truth might be out and adiya would have to first fight for them and then for their own love story

My guess is that, the next morning Zoya wakes up to just remember Aditya's promise, some of her antics and nothing more, neither Aditya's first practice proposal nor his second. She wonders what happened to her and why didn't remeber anything.

Aditya wakes up and while still on his bed he remembers her cute silly antics, her baar baar saying she won't let him go and the so so precious promise he had make to her.

While Zoya, gets ready to leave for the Hooda mansion, she sees the letter, doesn't remember where it came from and opens it curiously when she is interrupted by Abbu inquiring how she is feeling or Noor feeling guilty of spiking the juice. Anyhoo, She doesn't get to read the letter and it of all the people falls into Abbu's hand. He reads the letter, thinks Mujhe pata tha...' and Decides to expedite Arshad's meeting with his daughter.

Aditya waits for another opportunity. While loosing his tension around Zoya, romancing her in his own secret, subtle, cute way... Zoya is puzzled at his sudden change in behavior, is amused. Aditya decides he'd propose after the anniversary and enjoys his one sided love time with Zoya.

But Abbu is aware and doesn't leave his daughter alone. And meanwhile during the anniversary, Arshad walks in at a very crucial moment.

Aditya is shocked, sad and clueless. Zoya was expecting Arshad, so is very formal. Abbu's heart is dancing inside. Arshad guy is a suave, in total killer mode, Abbu and Ammi think, Arshad guy and Zoya look very good together.

Arjun encourages Aditya to go forth with the proposal. But Adi hesitates, says that Zoya deserves her chance too... he now knows the difference between how love feels and how friendship feels... he wants Zoya to have a chance to fall in love. Thinks that she thinks of him only as a best friend...and not as her love...He wants to give her space...and steps back. But is suffering inside, paining inside and Harshad will just be awesome in such scenes...

Well this is my guess. We'll see...

As regards the letter it is Zoya who will find it but quickly slip it into her bag as someone ...may be Abbu walks in ...though he should not without knocking ...so it may be Ammi or Noor. In the rush to complete preparAs rations for the party she may not get time and solitude to read it before Abbu rushes in Arshad to the rescue ...save Zoya from Aditya Hooda at all cost.
Once Arshad is there Aditya himself may back off as already mentioned above to give Zoya space to decide for herself the difference between love & friendship.So we get back to the central theme of love vs friendship in marriage.
Some time during this phase Zoya may read the letter and awaken to Aditya's truth ...making her realise her truth. We may then have an exciting phase when it will be Zoya chasing Aditya to convince him of her love.
Aditya will relent when he discovers Arshad deviousness ans save Zoya yet again .

In this roller coaster ahead the Kasam & the letter will play a vital role.
