Guess who? Blind Item

Filmmakers are understandably very secretive about their films while they are still a work-in-progress. After all, you don't want your plot and spoilers to be revealed, or worse, footage to find itself in the hands of pirates. But the makers of this upcoming film seem to have taken protection' to an altogether different level.

A leading promo professional was approached by the makers to make the trailer for their film. The promo expert agreed and told them to show him the whole film so that he could ideate on what should be conveyed in the trailer standard practice for how trailers are cut.

Imagine his surprise when he was told that no one was going to show him the magnum opus and that he would have to make the promo using the very limited footage that would be shared with him. The promo maker tried to reason with them that that was not the way trailers are made but the makers refused to budge. Finally, the promo expert told them that since they were cutting footage anyway, why don't they go all the way and make the promo themselves?!

Going by the pretty ordinary trailer that has now been released, looks like they took his advice!
