Sanju becomes Rajkumar Hirani's biggest hit ever!

Sanju is only getting bigger by the day. It has been adding money to its kitty since its release. No matter how many films released after that, it has never retarded its pace at the box office. Now it has defeated Aamir Khan's P.K. to become the third highest all-time grosser. It has also become Rajkumar Hirani's biggest hit ever. By earning Rs 340.05, it has managed to achieve this feat which till now belonged to Aamir's film. Talk about getting better with every film and Hirani has proved he is capable of that. Sanju may be heavily flawed as a biopic but it definitely was a good film which was directed well and had some really good performances. It's a huge achievement for Ranbir Kapoor. A few years back, trade was in two minds about what was happening to this star kid who started well but got lost somewhere. People had started commenting on his methods of choosing a film. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which was his last release, did well at the box office but it wasn't just his film. Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's characters were equally important to the story. Clearly, Sanju was really important for him.

There are reports that Sanju will now release in China. "Many distributors in China have reached out to us. They have watched the film and there is a lot of interest in releasing it in the country. We are also looking at the muscle of Fox Star to plan and release the film in Japan, South Korea, etc, Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios, told PTI.
