Kunal is definitely negative

I watched the show aft a long time & then binge watched the prev episodes. Initially I thought Kunal might be a grey character or at best a weak, confused person. But now its obvious that Kunal is definitely negative. I am not sure if the CVs originally intended it this way or its just poor execution. Frankly I dont mind negative characters. As long as the story & script is engaging I like serious themes with grey characters. But problem is the CVs ve not really laid a solid foundation for character development. Here we suddenly see Kunal turn 360. They 1st showed this guy as having high morals & ethics. Hell he quit his job coz the hospital was overcharging the patients. How can the viewers then suddenly reconcile with the fact that the same guy is fantasizing about his wife's friend. It just doesnt gel. The CVs should ve done more homework coz Kunal behavior is so weird & unrelateable. Earlier I was dissatisfied only with Nandini's character arc. Always crying, putting up with her hubby. But now the CVs ve done a good job with her. Her slow self realization, standing up for herself, trying 2 find courage. She is taking baby steps & its realistic. I am now liking her. And of course Mouli was always my favorite. Loyal friend, loving wife. She is warm, empathetic. They ve also shown how she has started realizing her job is taking a toll on her marriage. She even told Kunal that she will quit her Sat job so that they ll ve a work life balance. So now neutral viewers like me are loving her even more. I am not sure what the CVs end game is. As of now Kunal is definitely coming across as creepy & stalkerish.

Again if this is wat CVs intended then I am fine with it. I still feel that they should not gone overboard with Kunal-Mouli. If they had shown that their marriage was distant & they were drifting apart it would have made sense. Instead after showing Kunal being all over Mouli now suddenly showing him ogling Nandini is so weird...

The story has definitely picked up pace & thank god no more Nandini-Rajdeep crap. Interested 2 c how this goes!

I too have started liking nandini and her transformation is beautiful .Yeah kunal charactr is not relateable.Kunall character is cpming put to be creepy and stalker.I have developed strong dislike 4 his character.

It's too soon to briefly talk about his character...he just accepted his feelings last Friday and I don't like the way he was jealous over manas and the looks he was giving to nandini in car...he looked quite obsessed over nandini...still after the reality check what he will do that will make or break his character, for now he really didn't cross any major limit that he can't go back...I will judge his character based on this week episodes

Kunal negative nahi hai, execution wrong ho gaya hai

Kunal ke actions se wo negative lag raha hai par dialogues aur jo background music hai wo positive hai, lekin kahte hai na actions speak louder than words to action ka impact jyada hai uske words se

Its too early to predict whether he is positive or grey or negative ..

But the thing is whatever he feels for Nandini , is he ready to leave his wife Mouli for those feelings and marry Nandini because its clear he dont like the idea of Mouli fixing Nandini's alliance with some other guy ..

So on one hand he dont want Nandini to move on in life with another guy and on other hand he dont want to leave Mouli either which was clear in friday ending scene where he felt guilty .. So what does he really want 🤔 .. He cant hv two women in his life .. he has to choose one and if he cannot do that , then definitely he cannot b called a positive character .. so whether he is grey or negative only time will tell ..

Yeah I agree its tad early. But still his reactions tis week ve definitely been borderline obsessive behavior. The way he was staring at her during the concert & also in the car I feel the CVs r messing up Kunal's character. They can show him being confused. But this kinda jealous, obsessive stalker kinda behavior is weird & not in sync with wat they showed Kunal to be in the initial episodes. This is wat I am not able to reconcile to. This sudden change in his characterization. And so so suddenly aft just a few days 😕

Yeah I ve mentioned tis also in my post. I am not sure if CVs intended this way but the execution is really poor. Kunal is defo beginning to slowly creep into Psychoville, the way he keeps staring at Nandini. The way he got jealous of Manas. He has no rights on Nandini to get jealous 😕

But Kunal is defo NOT a nice guy anymore. That ship has sailed 😆 Now any lectures tat he gives in the future on morals/ethics etc will b hollow & hypocritical...

Apologies for butting in but i disagree with the notion that Kunal isn't a nice guy anymore. That ship hasn't sailed. It will depend whether his actions in future bring hurt and pain to others and if he is deliberate about it knowing fully the consequences. The standard that you seem to be putting here is such that anytime a person errs or makes a mistake, he becomes irredeemable that too based on not actions but feelings.

Whether he is not a good husband that is something that can be debated and is plausible.
