Not everyone from Bharat's team is ecstatic about Priyanka Chopra's reported engagement with Nick Jonas. The grapevine is abuzz with rumours of Salman Khan being miffed with PeeCee. Salman Khan is also reportedly in talks with Katrina Kaif for the part.
According to Mid Day, Priyanka Chopra had been trying to convey the possibility of her opting out of the project to the makers since the past two weeks.

A trade source tells mid-day, "Priyanka had been in talks with the Bharat team over the past two weeks about how she may have to opt out for personal reasons. Sensing Priyanka's iffy attitude, Salman initiated talks with Katrina during their Dabangg Reloaded Tour in the US. Other names including that of Jacqueline are also being tossed around.
The first shooting schedule of Bharat is already underway. Meanwhile, Priyanka has begun work on Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink.
