Mahira Sharma talks about her role in Naagin 3 and Career

Mahira Sharma who plays the beautiful girl Jamini who is actually a witch in Colors' Naagin 3, is happy to have bagged the role.

Enchanting beauty Mahira Sharma, who is currently ruling on-screen as the witch Jamini in Colors' Naagin 3, says she was scared of taking up a show which is helmed by Balaji Telefilms.

"I never auditioned for Balaji shows as I was initially scared to work with them. It is not because of some nasty reason, but considering that Balaji has a great working standard, I wanted to match up that and then venture into their shows. I suddenly got this role in my kitty and agreed to do it. Now, I am glad that I am working with them, shares the lady.

Mahira believes Jamini to be a challenging character for her. She says, "I never played such a versatile character in my career. I had to be as beautiful as I can for one part of the role and for the other, as ugly as I can. It was really a challenging task. However, I am happy that audience loves my role in Naagin 3. I am blessed as the team is also amazing.

When asked what type of role she would like to take up in future, Mahira avers, "I am done with negative roles in my career. Hence, I would want to play a positive character like a girl-next-door. I have got immense amount of haters as well as lovers on social media. However, I take all the comments as compliments.
