Raman look at the cop and said -chunnu anath nahi hai, we r with her. Aap please formalities puri kar dijiye, so that we can take the body home.
Cop-it will take few hours, Aap please bachchi ko sambhaliye ,she is not fine.
Raman nodded and went to ishita and chunnu.
Raman -beta, he called her and she turned to him. She cried bitterly seeing raman and said -papa, meri amma mar gayi. Main akeli ho gayi, She said and cried bitterly.
Raman walked to her and said hugging her -nahi beta, hum hai naa. Main, tumhari didu. We r with u bachcha. Tum akeli nahi ho, we r here to take care of u. He said caressing her hair softly while she was just crying hugging Raman. Ishita too cried seeing chunnu's condition and Raman called her too. Ishita came to him and hugged him tight. Raman was hugging both his girls giving them the much needed support.
Few hours passed, chunnu slept keeping her head on Raman's shoulder all exhausted due to continuous crying while ishita was also falling again and again in the sleep. Raman pulled ishita closer and made her sleep comfortably adjusting her head on his chest.
Raman look at the clock, it was five in morning. He was also feeling very tired coz the day was indeed tiring for him. Right from his long journey from Delhi, then being hurt by adiru and finally the death of laajo. Many things happened in a day. He asked the compounder that how much time it will take and he said few hours more. Raman too closed his eyes feeling exhausted and soon he too was fast asleep.
Two hours later the cop came to them and woke up raman. He got up at once and said -huh, what happened??
Cop-the formalities r completed. U cab take the body home.
Raman nodded and woke up ishita. She too got up and he said -u stat here with chunnu. Main body ke ghar pahunchne ka arrangement karta hoon, then we will go back together. Ishita nodded and he went.
After an hour, all were at home .all workers were crying bitterly and in between the sadness last rights of laajo got over.
All went back to their home while ishra took chunnu home. Chunnu was sitting like a rock when Raman went to her and said -kuch kha lo beta.
Chunnu nodded in no and rested her head on his chest. Tears were flowing continuously from her eyes. Raman signalled ishita to bring food. She went to take food while chunnu said -amma kyun chali gayi, papa.
Raman consoled her and said -i don't have answer to ur question but all I can say is very soon, everything will be fine. Sab kuch thik ho jayega. He said stroking her hair softly when ishita bring the food.
Chunnu -mujhe nahi khana, please didu.
Ishita -thoda saa bachche. She said forwarding a bite. Chunnu nodded in no when Raman feed her a bite and said -thoda saa. Tumne subah se kuch nahi khaya
Chunnu had her food slowly. Ishita was going back when Raman hold her hand and said -tum bhi kha lo.
Ishita -aapke bina kabhi khayi hoon.
Raman -mera mann nahi hai.
Ishita -mera bhi nahi ,she said looking down.
Chunnu look at them and said -please kha lo, papa. Aap bhi didu. Please kha lo. Mere liye, please.
Ishra look at chunnu and nodded. Ishita brought food for them too and they had it together.
After that, they all slept together.
Slowly time start passing, one week passed like this. Chunnu was living with Ishra and was slowly adjusting witg them.
One day, ishita was making food while raman was went to college. Chuniya has also gone to school after many days when the door bell rang. She opened the door and saw raman was standing there.
Ishita -arey, Aap Itni jaldi??
Raman -haan, wahan achcha nahi lag raha tha, toh aa gaya. Mann hi nahi lag raha hai.
Ishita -achcha kiya, I was also worried for u.aaiye ander aaiye.
Raman look around and said -chunnu kahan hai.
Ishita -woh school gayi hai, uski friends bulane aayi thi. Jaa hi nahi rahi thi but they insisted and took her with them.
Raman -achcha kiya, usse thoda change mil jayega. Aur tumhe bhi. Jao thoda apne ghar tak ho aao.u will feel good, it's long since u went to supervise ur business.
Ishita -nahi ,sab thik hai. They r taking good care of the business. I have to take care of chunnu and u. Aap bhi kitne weak lag rahe hai, u r taking care of everything alone.
Raman smiled and open his arms for her. She came closer and hugged him tight. Both hugged each other tight and stayed in each other's arms for long.
Ishita -i missed u so much raman. Itne din se I can't even hug u tight.
Raman -i know, I too missed ur warmth alot, ishita. But what to do, chunnu ko sambhalna jaruri tha. She was too shattered.
Ishita -i know and I am really proud of u. Aapne naa sirf usse beti mana, balki u took care of her like ur daughter. I am very proud of u. She said and took his lips in his. He smiled and start kissing her passionately.he pulled her more to him and deepen the kiss. Both were lost in each other as they got lone time after long, when the door bell rang.
They broke the kiss and ishita went to check composing herself.there was a man who gave her an envelope and went taking her signature. She got curious seeing legal paper and open to read it.
Raman came out and saw her reading something. Ishita was reading the paper while Raman was looking at her for an answer. She closed the letter and a tear fell off her eyes.
Raman -what happened, why u r crying?? Kya hai isme?? He asked to which ishita hugged him tight and cried.
Raman -now u r scaring me ishita, tell me kya hai yeh legal paper.
Ishita -court se hai,chunnu ko orphanage bhejne ke liye.
Raman -orphanage, kyun??
Ishita -kyunki she is just fourteen, and lost her both parent. Toh kisi ngo ne court mein arzi di hai to send chunnu to orphanage as uska strangers ke saath rehna dangerous ho sakta hai, for her.
Raman -stranger Matlab ,hum??
Ishita nodded in yes.
Raman -have they gone mad, uska hamare saath rehna dangerous hai aur orphanage bahut safe hota hai. Do u have any knowledge how these orphanage work. I am not going to send my chunnu anywhere. Arey woh bachchi hai, she just lost her only parent. How can somebody be so cruel ki uss bachchi ke saath aisa kar rahe hai. main aisa nahi hone dunga.
Ishita -but aap karenge kya?? She asked making Raman think and he said finally-main nahi, hum karenge. We will adopt her, legally usse apni beti bana lenge. He said in a go and then asked looking at ishita -tumhe koi problem toh nahi hai naa??
Ishita nodded in no and said -mujhe kya problem hogi raman, chunnu se jitna pyaar Aap karte hai utna hi main bhi karti hoon. I too don't want her to go. We will adopt her, she said smiling and both hugged each other tight happy over their decision.
