The thing is there was trust and it was all new to him cause it was outside the family (family including Rohit and Ananya). Thats why that girl points out to him he has never cared so much personally about anyone before. I think thats why he was hurt so much but then again he cannot judge Palak like that especially in the precap just because of her mom. I hope he soon realizes what he said before that she is not like her mom

When we are not in a right state of mind, things effects accordingly, we saw how Rithwik was so disturbed It proves Palak meant something for him, he was sad & distracted & that exact moment Saasu ma hit the wrong button.

I felt the same...rithwick thinking about the 7 stages and the scenes were very lame at this time...Rohit had hit the nail on the head by saying "dosti aesey hi nahin to do jaati" kind of words . That is where they had barely reached . Can't get over the proposal ...I imagined Papa Noon will announce marriage and son will accept...This was too much to watch...even though I love PaRit ...It would be sad to see him ditch Ananya after raising her expectations !!!!
