Garud Dhwaj remembers how he was defeated by Surath. Surath defeated Garud Dhwaj but spared his life. Surath said that sparing of life was itself a big punishment for Garud Dhwaj.
Surath – For the crime you have committed, the punishment is not death but equivalent to death. Your punishment is that I spare your life.
Garud Dhwaj is in his palace. He is not able to bear the insult. He tries to kill himself but queen Vijaya and Sumukhi stop him.
Sumukhi sends a parcel and a letter through a messenger to Surath. The parcel contains the kangans that Surath's mother had given her and the ring that Surath had given her.
The letter reads: - I am returning your ring and kangans. Your mother gave these kangans and you gave this ring. You insulted my father. I will never forgive you for that. I am breaking all relationships with you. If my faith in Ma Durga is true, then She will do justice by giving you adequate punishment.
Two soldiers of Surath are fighting with swords as a kind of sport. One of them wins. Surath fights with the winner and wins. Surath is very dejected because of the message from Sumukhi. He is so dejected that he forgets it is only a sport and he is about to kill that soldier, when Rajguru stops him.
Surath – Gurudev, my helplessness and my inability is my enemy.
Rajguru – For what can Chandranagrt's king be unable? You are unable to get what?
Surath – Peace of mind. I have always done my duty. But today, I got dejection. What is the use of such a duty, which makes my own as my enemy? Sumukhi broke all relations with me.
Rajguru – Sumukhi broke relations with you. You did not break relations with Sumukhi. If you want, once again, this relation will work out. You can do so by giving up ego. You will not become small by being humble. You did your duty towards your father. Now, do your duty towards your love. King Garud Dhwaj is your would be father in law. He is respectable as father to you. If you bow before him, then your stature will not become lower. You will not get any bad reputation. Go to him.
(Very good teaching. Lots of problems in relations can be solved by giving up one's ego.)
Kalketu is searching for that old woman.
Vajramushti – Kolanaresh, it is getting colder. If you want, I will bring woods.
Kalketu – Cut all trees of this forest.
That old woman comes and stops them.
Kalketu – You have come here? I was searching for you. Are you following me?
Old woman – You cannot give anything to nature. Then, why do you snatch from nature? Nature gives you everything. What do you give to nature?
(Sagars give good teachings in subtle way through this serial. Teaching here is not to cut trees.)
Kalketu – Nature's duty is to give. She gives us everything because she gave birth to all of us. It is her duty.
Old woman – What is your duty? If you cannot give anything, then at least be indebted.
Kalketu – Shut up, old woman. Soldiers, cut trees.
Whichever tree the soldiers want to cut, that woman appears there.
Kalketu – Cut her also.
The weapons of the soldiers vanish. Surath fights with her using his magical powers. But his powers do not work on that woman. His weapons become flower garland and flowers. After some time, the woman disappears.
In Vijay Durg, Garud Dhwaj and Vijaya worship Durga. That old woman (who is a form of Durga Herself) comes there. She gives flowers to Garud Dhwaj and Vijaya.
Old woman – Whether a king has flowers or a poor man, a god or a demon, a man or a woman, flowers give fragrance. Flowers are never biased. Flower's duty is to give fragrance. Flower never deviates from its duty. But humans forget the way you two forget. What is the duty of parents? Raise daughter with love and marry her to somebody who will keep her happy. King, your ego stopped you. You forgot that to some extent you are also responsible for the gate of Vijay Durg being closed for king Chandramukh. You should repent for it. You should forget your insult and go to king Surath.
Sumukhi is very sad.
Vijaya – Are you thinking about Surath? Do not cry. We are going to meet Surath.
Sumukhi – Why do you want to meet the one who insults and challenges his elders?
Garud Dhwaj – Surath is my would be son-in-law.
Sumukhi – Not is but was. I have broken all relations with him.
Vijaya – We again want those relations.
Garud Dhwaj – Parent's happiness lies in the happiness of children. Surath is your future, your love. He will keep you happy. I do not blame Surath for the war. I blame your uncle Durjay for this. He closed the gate for king Chandramukh.
Durjay thinks – I am planning to close the gate of this world for you.
Garud Dhwaj – Ma Durga will always do good to you.
Durjay thinks – But I will always do bad to you.
A messenger from Vijay Durg meets Surath in Chandra Nagri.
Messenger – King Garud Dhwaj wants to meet you. He wants to tell the truth regarding king Chandramukh's death. He also wants to talk to you about your marriage with Sumukhi.
(Very good that at least now Garud Dhwaj is explaining everything to Surath so that misunderstanding is cleared.)
Surath is thrilled to hear this.
Surath – Tell king Garud Dhwaj that I will meet him. Also tell him that I was mourning because of my father's death. As a result, whatever I did, I beg forgiveness for that.
(Such a good teaching! Saying sorry once takes off burden from heart.)
Garud Dhwaj (to Sumukhi) – Messenger has returned. He has brought message from Surath.
Vijaya (to Sumukhi) – He has accepted not only to meet but he has also begged for forgiveness from your father.
Sumukhi's joys know no bounds. She thanks Goddess Durga for this.
Durjay meets Kalketu.
Kalketu – Durjay has come to Vijay Durg's enemy?
Durjay – Enemy's enemy is friend.
Kalketu – You are selfish because you are ambitious. Therefore, you will not hesitate in breaking trust. It is obvious that Garud Dhwaj does not know that he has a snake in his own house.
Durjay – Wow, you praised me so much. I have come here to tell you tell you that you did not take revenge of your brother's death.
Kalketu – My revenge is over. I killed Surath's father.
Durjay – But, what about my niece Sumukhi? Your brother was killed because of her. The love between Sumukhi and Surath still continues. Your revenge will not be over if you do not end this love story. Your revenge will be over only if you make Sumukhi as queen of Kolanagri. Your brother Dhumraketu also wanted the same. If you go to Kolanagri without Sumukhi, will your brother's soul not ask for explanation?
Kalkatu gets angry.
Kalketu – Tell your motive.
Durjay – I want to be your saamant (i.e. a small king ruling under a bigger king).
Kalketu – What is your ambition?
Durjay – Vijay Durg's throne so that when you come to Vijay Durg and arrest Sumukhi, then I do your job easier.
Kalketu – I will come there. I will make Sumukhi my queen.
In Vijay Durg, Garud Dhwaj orders the city to be decorated to welcome Surath. On the other hand, both Surath and Kalketu are planning to come to Vijay Durg.
Next episode will be interesting because I think both Kalketu and Surath will be in Vijay Durg at the same time and both will come there to marry Sumukhi.
