The cv's have shown enough of swarna's childishness and over-hyper, over-controlling and stubborn behaviour, and her behaviour has even got her what she has wanted for the past two years since she kicked naira out; breaking off naira's tie to karthik and breaking karthik-naira relationship. And now that are showing karthik trying to come to terms with the divorce and trying to act normal. With all this, they need to start toning swarna down, considering her smugness at having got what she wanted out of her sheer hatred, and now they should show her noticing how much karthik has changed in these 2 years, and how he is actually affected by his separation from naira. She needs to start being able to see karthik's loneliness and pain, and she also needs to see that he actually isn't happy with the divorce.
They could start this by swarna witnessing a confrontation at the mandir or something between kaira, where karthik taunts naira over her decision for divorce so that she could move on, and asks her if she wanted divorce then she could have given him divorce 2 years back, so why now?
Naira retorts back that she spent those two years waiting for him, and only gave the divorce papers as he said to swarna that he wanted no relationship with her. Karthik is shocked to know this, and says that he didn't say he wanted divorce. Naira asks, so if saying there is no relationship between us and can never be one didn't mean divorce, then what did it mean, or were you planning on never having a relationship with me, but never divorcing me, so I would have to wait a few more years or my entire life to find out the status of our relationship or wondering if our relationship could be fixed? Karthik at this point feels guilty as he realises naira has misunderstood what he had said to swarna as him wanting to end their marriage.
Naira concludes by saying that then it is good that I took the first step by giving divorce papers, otherwise you would have kept me waiting with false hope for the rest of my life, as neither was he going to end her wait via divorce or by taking her back, and was only going to extend her wait and just walks away.
With this, karthik realises that naira had been waiting for him and had hoped that they would get back together in these two years, but she had took the step of divorce due to overhearing his words said to swarna, and he feels hurt and angry at himself. Swarna witnesses all this and is shocked and hurt to know that karthik didn't want to divorce naira at all, and it was naira's decision. From them on, swarna silently starts watching karthik's actions and behaviour and begins noticing things in him she was ignorant to due to her behaviour over the two years.

Alternatively, they could have dadi confronting naira, and naira saying all this to dadi. Then dadi realises that naira wasn't wrong and is herself very much hurt, and tells all the things naira told her to karthik. Karthik says to dadi that he didn't mean he wanted divorce when he said that and only said all that because of swarna's condition, but dadi tells him that naira thought that is what you meant, and understandably so, as any girl would have felt hurt to hear her husband say that he wants no relationship with her to another person. Dadi tells him that she thought naira was at fault for not trying to mend this relationship, but she herself was waiting for him, and hoping he would come for her, but he only ever kept her waiting and was only thinking about swarna. Karthik is hurt and says he wished naira had came and asked him first about this and he would have talked to her that swarna's condition wasn't good and so he had to calm her down and is regretful. Swarna hears all this and is hurt knowing he doesn't want the divorce.
