If you find any Indian TV show abusive, not good to watch for your self or for family that too when being aired at prime time slot daily, then you can complain about said TV show & channel to Indian Broadcasting Foundation. 😊 And laws say formal complaint should be made to broadcaster within 7 days of date of particular TV episode telecast by quoting objectionable content details that violate norms. Complain form can be sent by Post or Online within 7 days of telecast of specific episode giving correct details, but how many actually attempt it?

I raised it many times earlier be it on forum or on social media or on related sites and have complained as well, but we need true collective support 😔 be it against over blown crimes, child abuses, violence against women, highlighting how to murder 1001 ways yet escape uncaught unpunished etc. getting glorified REPEATEDLY on Kumkumbhagya at 9pm prime time slot as these are violations of I&B norms and guidelines of BCCC. Being fans of a TV show, actors or leads doesn't necessarily mean we should blindly ignore such acts and avoid being responsible citizens of civic society, as this is enabling Indian media/production houses to take things for granted regularly.

No point in only complaining / showing frustrations on fan pages or forums or confine it to internal discussions, without taking it up formally. Even Zeetv channel/programming/biz heads need to be aware what is being telecast daily under the mask of a popular rated prime time show on their channel.

Media owners, producers aim to drive revenues through sensationalizing TV content to draw more and more viewers from the society. They say they have self-regulation instead of state control, unlike films that go thru certification/censor board clearances. But as a regular consumer we should know that our powers are not restricted to switching off one channel or change over to another TV channel or tune into another radio station when we keep finding content too provoking or inappropriate to be shown on national television. One can legally file a complaint against such media content under below categories.

Child Abuse: This includes child maltreatment like physical, mental, sexual or emotional abuse of children. Child marriages are also covered under this head.
Violence against Women: This category deals with offences which are gender specific.
If the user finds anything which contains anything obscene or nudity or sexual conduct which is not appropriate for children/teenagers.
Broadcasting anything which creates superstition in the minds of the viewers.
Any content which creates a communal disturbance or promotes violence, it can be in the form of any speech, statement or any video.
Also, the content which is against the law and order of the country.
Excessive usage of drugs, alcohol and solvent abuse.
Coarse and offensive language or the content which contains explicit scenes of violence.etc.

So do try complaining with TV shows episode number, specific scene, date & time of telecast..try to bring more supporters to raise more complaints with specific details & NOT make it generic.

Mention the objection first in the complaint then use a constructive approach for more strategic reasons. A polite and moderate tone projects an image of reason, firmness and seriousness. Try to avoid being emotional and using the words which suggest insults, threats or overreaction. Remember that your main goal is to get compliant investigated, then a public apology, and to prevent further bias & abuse and also to mobilize public support for your objection. Using direct antagonistic and negative approach often makes people more defensive, and this stops them to take any suggestions or demands for change.

So same way we have every right to complain and also request to shift KKB from 9pm to 10.30pm/11pm late night slot if channel/production house doesn't want to abide guidelines or keep ignoring protests by airing abusive over blown crime content repeatedly. 😳

Also few KKB viewers can also mention this is not the first time in KKB they are pathetically showing a criminal plot and harm a 6 yr old by throwing her down by stairs, very recently in May/Jun 2018 also they have carelessly aired school terrorist attack tortures on kids, then in bank robbery also they have showed in closeup how a bank employee got slit brutally on a 9pm show that gets watched by children/teenagers..(rememeber giving episode numbers and date of telecast)..

You are so right @LA2725, glorifying a criminal fit to be sentenced to lifelong imprisonment should be condemned by the audience and should be done as an urgent matter collectively. Glorifying her for 6 months or so can be said to be tolerable (this is for argument sake) but to glorify her as the main driving force of the serial for the full time period should be condemned immediately.

I can only term it to this, just like how the fans are obsessed with Tisha, nitin and crew are obsessed with 🤬 irrespective of taking on the responsibility of being creative head of a serial running at prime time and now watched on a large scale by many states in India and countries abroad. The love for Tisha is becoming worldwide now. They are a unique pair with inexplicable talent and understanding between them, who if given a chance of something new by any new challenging director and producer will make wonders. But to use them to promote a talentless person is despicable.

So, let us do it, I for one will join you in this.

Yeah some channels, production houses and people supporting them may be powerful, no denial..

But not to forget same body upon receiving huge complaints from viewers and/or backlash in media was also instrumental in shifting time slots of few popular evening daily/weekend TV shows to late nights, issuing warning letters to few broadcasters after which content in the shows was toned down, and also forcing few TV shows to be shut down prematurely as well. 😊

In KKB we had it all : bribe,murder,kidnapping,i lost count for atempt of murder,child abuse,stealing of paper,of kids,of money and many more .but who is counting??i loved the show and the leads so i kept watching all crap 😡

Agreed; it was a torture to watch Tanu deliberately plot against Kiara, make her fall down the stairs and then get away with it!!😡

This is a bad influence. And rthat too violence against a kid. Disha has doubts on Tanu, though she doesn't manage to catch her

I have done it!! I have also mentioned the dates. I also suggested that if Ekta wants to continue the show due to its ever so high TRPs, then it should be shifted to late night slot such as 11pm or get an earlier less favourable timeslot such as 5pm, 5:30pm,6pm or 6:30pm so it comes to the attention of less. But Ekta owns the 9pm slot since last 10 years so u know!!

How can we ignore upcoming way too predictable kidnaps, humiliations, tortures, battles, accidents and murder attacks that kids Kiara/Sunny would be subjected in the hands of evils in KKB just bcoz they are born to Pragya/Disha?😒 and crew going all about to show these in glorified manner in the disguise of family drama airing at 9pm prime time slot on such a popular Zee channel..

I think that kiara is subjected to danger for 2 reasons.
Ofcourse kiara is a child .
Firstly ,abhi's attachment towards her should increase .
Secondly,tanu should not be a good candidate to play kiara's mom ,being abhi's wife.This will be the reason for tanu n abhi's marriage to break.
Ofcourse the ph exaggerate the case all the time n make it dramatic.
Nevertheless this action of kiara being attacked is necessary for the storyline.
Hence will not be scrapped off .
Chapter closed.
This is how the ph will defend its case.
Didn't the same stuff work for abhigya in the development of their love?The same has also taken the show to the top.
But the old viewers are tired of this kind of violence.
Trp wise this should end.
The cvs ,ph n the channel understand only this language.
I wish there was a higher authority.
Learnt about the power of the ph n channel from yhm.
