This is how much screen time Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has in Fanney Kh

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has a short but interesting special appearance in Fanney Khan. The actress shot for around 12-13 days with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

After dazzling the silver screen with her sultry act in Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is back with a bang as she will be playing a glamourised popstar in her next, Fanney Khan.

The trailer of the movie was out sometime back and it showed us a glimpse of Aishwarya's character, which gave us rockstar vibes as she killed it on the stage. Fanney Khan also stars Anil Kapoor in the titular role while Rajkummar plays Aishwarya's love interest.

Just like in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Aishwarya will have limited screen time in Fanney Khan, according to DNA.

A source revealed to DNA, "Aishwarya has a short but interesting role in the movie. She's barely in it for around 15-20 minutes, so it's a special appearance. She shot for around 12-13 days with Anil and Rajkummar Rao. Two songs a dance number and a love track have been filmed on her."

The source added that it was the theme of fat shaming that drew Aishwarya to the script as she felt the need for it to be addressed.

Earlier, while speaking to DNA, Aishwarya had said, "I'm doing Fanney Khan because I like the larger idea. There's a girl who looks up to this pop star, who is played by me. But sometimes, when we idolise someone, we forget that they, too, are real people. We shouldn't judge them for their appearance. It's frivolous. It's important for me to come out and speak about such issues.
