Balloons: She Let Go and He Made It Easier

One of the stand alone episodes where the symbolism is profound on screen. With the beautiful,happy celebrations kickstarting with Sameer wishing with roses and presenting his girl with gifts after gifts ;I am stuck with the balloons.Yes!Those beautiful coloured balloons that decorated the car,the ones who hid her surprise gifts and those who flew to the road as they drove away.

The balloon is a double-archetype of childhood innocence and total freedom.The balloon primarily illustrates merriment, mirth and brightly colored emotional jubilation.She was so happy and those bright smiles on her face lit up his day.She played with the balloons and he too joined.

Naina let go off the past memories of her mother passing away upon her birth(I am ignoring the fact that CVs did not show this),her own father forgetting her birthday and the bitterness she time and again had with Sameer in regard with their jeopardised dates.She even freaked out that they have come out of limits of Ahmedabad.But he asked her to 'Relax and Enjoy.'' And she let go off her fears.

Terry says there are times in life when people must know when not to let go. Balloons are designed to teach small children this.And I would say There are times in life when people must know WHEN to let go. Balloons teach us this.

With the colourful balloons he has decorated the place to let his girl feel special and true to his intentions she confesses her love for him again; regaling in the beauty of colours and celebrations he has filled her life with ;just like the balloons.
