Director Ravi Rai is both sad and happy. His serial 'Kasshish' will be taken off air as the TRPs garnered were dismal. "My serial didn't get the right numbers. The show was too elite for people. I think only a small urban segment of society understood my plot. I will work harder at making a serial more 'mass'," he says dismissively.
He's happy because paradoxically 'Kasshish' has six nominations in the technical category of the Indian Television Awards! "I am happy that at least it's getting appreciated in the technical category."
That's not all. One has also heard that Tanaaz Currim, the lead actor of his other serial 'Fultoo Paagal Hai' is giving the unit a hard time since she is participating in 'Celebrity Fame Gurukul.'
Rai clarifies, "Tanaaz is a very sweet girl. 'Celebrity Fame Gurukul' came up so she asked me if she could work evenings instead of mornings.
The other actors in the serial compromised accordingly. But one particular day she came in pretty late and upset the production team as they couldn't contact her. But I guess these things happen all the time," he shrugs.
