"Khushiii..." He screamed waking up from another nightmare, his body covered in sweat.
He gulped the some water and walked towards the window, the moon was shining there and a smile appeared on his face as he remembered her words.
"Arnav, If you're ever feeling lonely, look at the moon. Because someone, somewhere might be looking at it too."
"Tomorrow will be better."
"But what if it's not?" He asked.
"Then you say it again tomorrow." She said and he looked at her weirdly "You never know right? Because it might be not now but someday it'll be."
He sighed caressing her only memory left with him, her payal. "She was always right. Even if he haven't seen her since he moved away at the age of 14 but it's time. He will soon see her again, smiling affectionately at him."
Next Day, Arnav's efficient employee Aman handed him the file with all the information he needed but whatever was written there left him restless. "Chotte" He looked at his sister who walked inside his room with a smile and when he told her about the contents of file she also looked worried.
Flashback
Arnav was fourteen and Anjali 18 when their parents died in an accident but just few days later they accidentally heard their Uncle talking with someone and they got to know that their parents was actually murdered by him. Arnav told everything to Shashi Gupta who promised to help them but they're to stay quiet for time being. His daughter Khushi was Arnav's best friend, his lucky charm, she always used to understand him and say things too big for her age.
She promised him that night to always be with him but unfortunately the same night he had to break his promise and run away with his sister to save their lives. When Arnav returned home, a frantic Anjali told him how his Uncle are planning to kill them also for the property and having no other way they ran from there to their mother's family.
His uncle suspicion to their sudden move was extinguished by Arnav when they said they want to live with their Grandmother. So he left them alone but within few days they got to know that Shashi Gupta has filed case against their Uncle. They were also threatened by their Uncle so their grandmother sold her house and they moved away without informing anyone to keep Arnav and Anjali safe.
Flashback ends
After that he lost any contact with Khushi, he many times tried to contact her but just the thought of pulling her into any danger always stopped him. But now he is ready to face anything, he have power and money both to deal with anyone who dares to come in his way.
He was actually happy to go back and claim their house, where all their parent's memories lay and more excited to meet Khushi because he have loved her from the time he didn't even know the meaning of love. But now he is scared to face her, in trying to keep her away from danger he left her all alone and he didn't even know that she lost her father. He should have been there for her, he should have been there in the last time of Shashi Uncle to support her but he wasn't.
"She knew how to make me feel better but now it's my turn." He decided.
"She needs to feel better too."

Khushi smiled as her mother continued to pamper her, she is officially a lawyer now. Her practice period is now finished and now Khushi Gupta is ready to take down the culprits who snatched so many people she loved. She lost her sweet Ratna aunty and Avinash Uncle, her Anjali Di also left along with her partner in crime, her best friend "Arnav. She saw her father fighting for his friend's family but falling back because of their influence and money. He spent his everything trying to bring justice for his friend's family and his helpless face made her determined to help him in anyway, to punish the person who snatched her another family and she decided to become a lawyer.
Now she is ready but she still miss him, she still hopes that he will return. Arnav Singh Raizada is fine, may be no other recognize him but she can never fail to recognize those eyes and she knew the youngest business tycoon "ASR is none other than "Her Arnav." She was just 11 year old when Arnav and Anjali ran away but she never lost the hope of meeting them, she always used to write letters to Arnav and hide in their secret meeting place, hoping he may visit that place for her but after her father's death she stopped. She know she can go and meet him but she wants to see if he still remember them, "Her. Would he ever return or have he forgot his promises?"
"Tomorrow will be better" she thought of her own words once said to Arnav and smiled looking at the moon before going to bed. She looked at the wooden box kept on her bedside table and opened it to see few of their memories together, her fingers stopped at her Payal. It was her favorite in childhood but it's pair went missing just like many other missing pieces of her life.

Re-opening the case against Arnav's uncle Khushi felt satisfied, she ignored all his threats and after two long years she felt like visiting their secret place. She opened the door of tree house and her lips stretched into smile, she settled on the floor and opened the box where they used to hide their things but her eyes turned wide in shock when she found all the letters written to Arnav missing.
"Looking for these?" A husky voice from behind left her stunned.
"Her Arnav is standing there, holding all the letters in his hands."
The End.
