Shah Rukh Khan to kick-start Rakesh Sharma biopic in September

"Shah Rukh will begin prep for the film in September and will shoot for two months straight until November-end, a source close to the development told Mirror, adding that the 52-year-old actor will then take a month-long break to promote his upcoming release Zero, which hits the screens on December 21.
"He will resume shooting in January. The film is expected to release in 2019 and the makers are presently finalising the leading lady. The actor recently returned from the final schedule of Aanand L Rai's drama in which he plays a dwarf, also featuring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. They were in the US and filmed extensively at the NASA headquarters.
Rakesh Sharma, who joined the Indian Air Force as as test pilot in 1970 flew various aircrafts, swiftly progressing to the position of Squadron Leader. On September 20, 1982 he became a cosmonaut and was selected to go into space as part of a joint program between the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the Soviet Intercosmos Space Program. He was conferred the honour of the Hero of the Soviet Union upon his return from space and India's highest peacetime gallantry award, the Ashoka Chakra.
