One of the major success stories this year has been the sensational run at the box office by VEERE DI WEEDING. The movie starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shika Talsania went to collect just under 80 crores at the domestic box-office and now the makers we hear are gearing up for a sequel. According to our highly sources, the movie in question will begin filming only by the end of 2019 and the makers want a 2020 release for the same. One of the producers of the movie Rhea Kapoor has already got director Shashanka Ghosh working on her next movie which is a major biopic currently and once he is done filming that only then work can fully begin on the sequel. But a sequel will be a massive one with the first installment a clear fan favourite and the makers are clear that they want to up the ante in the sequel.
