Why is there always unnecessary negativity around the successful outsiders? First SSR, now Karthik. As if they must behave like the most sanskari, adarsh, never speak an ill word type of person and star kids can run amok being their usual entitled brats and no one would bat an eyelid. This wouldn't even be news if was a starkid doing it. In fact, if a starkid is humble then it's considered some shocking thing. 😕😆

So it wasn't really a big surprise when during the opening ceremony of the current International Indian Film Academy awards (IIFA) in Bangkok, Varun Dhawan, who currently rules the charts, took a jibe at his junior Kartik Aaryan on stage, calling out to Kartik as the new star, the 100-crore hero'.

An actor present at the event says, "Outwardly Varun was being appreciative. But one could sense the stinging jibe at the rising star.

Varun has had several Rs 100-crore hits to his credit. To make a reference to Kartik's first Rs 100-crore film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety was uncalled-for.

"It was almost like pointing out that the junior actor has a long way to go, says an actor who was present there.

Varun does it again. Last year also he was taking digs at Kangana along with KJo's. This year also KJo ko impress karne ke chakkar mein he is taking digs at Kartik.
