Is the term 'phenomenon actor' overrated in bollywood?

non of them are phenomenal.the only one who could be assigned that title is

amrish puri.be it villainy or buffoonery or plain angry strict father he has nailed

every char.his voice his eyes his body language conveyed everything so

convincingly that even in a horrible script he stood out for his mere screen presence.

though ab is hugely popular n challenges amrish puri well bt i prefer amrish puri

any day over ab sr.the other one whom i am willing to shower this honour on is

ratna pathak ji.again be it evil strict mean or good character she just stands out

even if its 5 min role.

if u see srk for years he is that same old brown hairy untidy man needing an urgent

scrubbing n now his jaws are so hollow with rapid ageing that u feel like u need to bring

some suction pump to make them come out in case he does not wears those

greasley beards of his.so amir wins handsomely.neat n clean gentleman.

varietywise amir wins.he is not limiting himself.he is exploring every possible

roles n most importantly he is not banking on fans to bail him out rather he is

depending on a solid story line.this is making him the best of the existing pool of actors we

currently have.

yet i would not put him in phenomenal bracket as he still can't stand out by his own

performance.he does not arrest ur attention for long.it slips n breaks when he does that

aah aah.he does that purposeful aah aah to make it sound natural bt it comes out more

like artificial n snaps me out.dch was his very best when it came to exploiting eyes to

the best.i really love actors who speaks less n uses eyes more to project emotions.

so my criteria is never good looks or nice biceps but only good powerful expressive eyes.

phenomenal is one whom u cannot afford to take ur eyes off even for one nano sec

coz if u do its ur loss to marvel the talented one.so amrish puri n ratna pathak ji are

the two whom i would dare not even blink to avoid missing out even one bit of them.

do tell me ur opinion as well.
