Hello guys, I am back with another one 😉. This one is different so I hope you enjoy reading and don't forget to share your views about characters. :) ...
The pics don't belong to me, I copied them from twitter as they are.

The Beginning:
In first week of "Silsila", we are introduced with different faces of human nature-------good, bad and ugly. The good ones are good because they want to make the world a better place to live in and bad ones are bad just for the sake of it.
Here is my opinion on different ones.
Abhinav Shukla / Rajdeep:
Rajdeep, a diplomatic individual with a totally different approach towards his wife and other people. He doesn't need any reason to act the way he does. He wouldn't accept his mistake and is easy to infuriate to the point of chocking his wife to death. He is selfish, degrading, manipulative and sadistic.
Rajdeep as the way he is, sadly represents a large number of men's population, even if it is 21st century. I have seen men, educated and uneducated. act this way. They love to be autocratic and their wife is either a show piece or a maid. Not only that, she is their punching bag and sole receiver of their anger and frustration, whether she is responsible or not. The intensity of physical and verbal abuse differs with the temper, negativity and frustration the man possesses.
Such people are not easy to deal with and the thought of spending whole life with such a man itself is horrific and nightmare in itself.
Started with Rajdeep because he is the "worst" of the show. Abhinav deserves to be appreciated here, for his portrayal is right at the spot, from accent to body language, he is acing the role without a doubt. 👏
Shakti Aurora /Kunal:
In the world full of Randeeps, there are kunals as well. The principle based, straight forward, loving and caring ones. They have their own perspective of life. They do have problems and they too get angry n frustrated but they do not pull it out on other people. They do not torture their partners to feel good. They have positive outlook for the life and wouldn't hesitate helping others without a prior motive. It's either black or white for them. There is nothing as grey in their world.
Such people are rare, but they do exist. These people need to be loved for they forget themselves somewhere while loving others and deep down need someone as passionate and loving as they are. So, if you find or know someone as kunal, hold them tightly, love them and don't let them go. 😉
Shakti did great job here, he depicted the 'happy go lucky' very well. His happiness and enthusiasm didn't look fake while he portrayed the cheery face of our kind. He is "good" of the show.

Aditi Sharma / Mauli:
Mauli is today's woman. She is me and she is any other girl, who wants to make a career but not at the cost of her home. She would turn robotic for it, but couldn't sacrifice her independence and passion. She is insecure and is sensitive about stuff. She gets frustrated and mad when things don't work and need someone to assure her continuously that it is alright and it would be fine at the end.
A vast majority of today's women have same insecurities, same outlook towards things. They want to make it right for themselves and every other one. They too have their rules set but do deviate here and there sometimes.
Such woman can only function with the right man or people beside them, she needs people who are supportive and accept them for what they are. With a partner like Kunal, it is comparatively easy for them to manage but they couldn't function with a man such a Rajdeep.
Aditi did fine job too, when for a minor second I thought it was going to go overboard , she came back to it and didn't let it slip. All in all, excellent job by her 👍🏼.. She is "realistic" of the show.
Drashti Dhami/ Nandini:
Nandini is someone, no woman wants to be but where there are men like Rajdeep, there are Nandinis as well. For some reason they accept such an abusive partner, go through torture on daily basis where it comes to the point of suffocation. Where their breaths are not their own and their words better stay in their chest because it might anger their partner if they spoke. Such women are the ones who give birth to more Rajdeeps.
To be honest, nothing angers me as much as the person who accepts torture and do nothing about it. I know they have reason, from having children binding them to having no one backing them up or having no idea about outer world , they end up bearing it but how can a woman spend her whole life like this. How can she not stand from the very first time he manhandles her?. Come on, open your eyes, the world has a lot of space to accommodate you away from your abusive other half.
So, all the girls out there, not to preach but don't let it happen with yourselves, take a stand the very first time you go through it because it is easy to get away in the beginning. The more time passes, the more it gets difficult to get rid of such person. Take a stand, right from the beginning because you have scope and you have lots to conquer. 😊
As a character, this one is "deepest and core part of story". As harsh as it is, this one is also real and such woman do exist too.
Drashti nailed the character and I didn't expect any less from her. The fear, anguish and helplessness of the character is portrayed with utmost excellence. She is doing a brilliant job 👏

To CVs: Keep it up and maintain what you started with !!!
