I am trying to sleep and failing miserably. First thing, its really difficult for me to sleep in a different bed and then these stupid nightmares. I am getting idiotic thoughts right now. I looked beside me only to see Arjun sleeping with a frown on his face. Looks like even he is not getting good sleep. Suddenly I heard someone calling my name.

Roshni: Riya!!

I heard a female's voice, and I know this is Roshni's voice. As this is the same voice which tortured me to no ends. This is the voice of the video which Sikandar has shown me. God!! Why am I hearing her voice. I closed my eyes tightly gulping in fear. I don't know what's going on in my life anymore.

Roshni: Riya please don't ignore me!! Listen to me just once. Please!!

I heard her voice and this time her voice felt helpless. I can't ignore her voice any longer. I opened my eyes then huffed irritated when I saw no one in the room. I sighed frustrated and went out towards the living room where we kept Roshni's picture.

I went towards her picture and saw a woman standing there, or can I say Roshni standing there. Man!! She is looking beautiful but still she is a ghost. What the hell!! I am seeing Roshni's ghost?? But why??

Riya: What's wrong?? And why me?? Don't tell me you are jealous just because I was sleeping beside Arjun. Trust me there is nothing between us.

I said to her in fear. I have never fought with a ghost before. What if she is here to kill me?? What will I do??

Roshni: Relax!! Take a breath!!

She said looking at me amused. Its better if I do what she says.

Riya: OK I did what you said. Now can I go??

I said looking at her hopefully and she started grinning like an idiot. I looked at her tensed. Oh god!! What does she want from me?? She stopped after sometime and looked at me seriously.

Roshni: Please convince Arjun to take you to our previous home. I will meet you there. Its urgent Riya. Please!!

She said looking at me in a pleading voice. I frowned at her.

Riya: Okay. I will try but I am not promising that I will do it.

I said to her hesitating but suddenly I heard Arjun's voice. What the!! I looked up only to see Roshni's portrait in front of me. No one is there. Where did she go??

Arjun: Riya?? What are you doing here??

I turned around only to see Arjun looking at me frowning. Now what to say to him?? That I was talking to his ex wife's ghost?? I don't think he will believe me.

Riya: No... Nothing. Where are Roshni's things??

I asked him hesitating. God!! Why did she want me to come to her house??

Arjun: Why are you asking??

He asked looking at me suspiciously. I rolled my eyes at him. He is looking at me as if I will rob his previous house.

Riya: I just want to find something. Can you tell me??

I looked at him pleading. I know I have to do what Roshni said otherwise she will haunt me for life.

Arjun: In my previous house.

He said frowning. Thank god!! he didn't shift her things.

Riya: Where is it??

I asked him softly. May be I can go to his house myself??

Arjun: 1 hour distance from here.

He said looking at me confused.

Riya: Can you take me there??

I asked him trying to control myself. God!! why do I have to do all this??

Arjun: I don't go there anymore Riya.

He said looking at me sternly. I gulped looking at him. Then I took a deep breath. I have to fight with him for this matter.

Riya: OK!! Give me the address.

I looked at him stubbornly. He looked at me ready to shout.

Arjun: You won't go there. Stay away from that house Riya.

He said with so much anger that I was taken aback for some time. Then I closed my eyes taking a deep breath. This is really serious. I don't want Roshni's ghost to haunt me for life time.

Riya: You forgot Mr. Rawte I am a research specialist. I can find everything about you pretty easily. Don't force me to do that.

I looked at him in warning and he cursed gritting his teeth.

Arjun: Why do you even want to go there??

He snapped at me angrily. Its not as if I want to go there. Its his ghost wife who is forcing me. But the problem is, I can't tell him the truth.

Riya: Its important please.

I looked at him pleading. He sighed irritated then took a deep breath and looked at me with blank face. Shit!! What is he thinking now??

Arjun: Fine be ready at 7 am. We will go there but I won't go inside.

He said glaring at me and I sighed finally relaxing somewhat.

Riya: Thank you Arjun.

I smiled at him and went towards our room.

Arjun: Why is it so important for you??

He asked looking at me confused. Well!! What to tell him??

Riya: Will tell you tomorrow. I promise.

I said to him trying to convince him not to ask anything right now.

Arjun: Fine!!

He sighed and laid down on his side. I laid down on my side and closed my eyes praying that I sleep for sometime.

I got up startled hearing Roshni's voice. What the hell!! Now what does she wants?? I looked everywhere but no one is there. I looked at the clock and its already 6 am. I got up and went to washroom. I have to be ready till 7 am.

I came out from my walk in wardrobe to see Arjun fully ready.

Arjun: Ready??

He asked looking at me confused. I know right now I would be looking like a scared cat. Cause I am scared. Don't know why Roshni called me there. Did she want to kill me??

Riya: Hmm.

I nodded and we both left for the house. We reached there and I went inside. Arjun is sitting in his car only. He didn't even came out. He just passed me the keys and told me to go. How rude!!

Riya: Roshni??

I called for Roshni once I went inside the house. God!! This house looks like a haunted house.

Riya: Where are you I am here!!

I said again and still there is no answer. What the hell!! Did she called me here to play?? What's going on??

Riya: Roshni??

I called again but no answer. I heard front door close and I looked at the door in shock. I can see someone's shadow there and I felt as if my heart will come in my throat anytime.

Riya: Who... Who's there??

I asked gulping in fear. I know I am an officer. But I am not a ghost fighter damn it.

Riya: What's going on??

I said looking in front of me shocked when I felt that shadow disappear. Suddenly I heard Rosh's voice in my ear.

Roshni: Its me.

She said softly and I shrieked turning around. God!! That was damn scary. I looked at Roshni only to see her laughing like a mad person.

Riya: Why the hell did you do that??

I snapped at her irritated. She smirked looking at me.

Roshni: Scared?

She asked raising her eyebrow.

Riya: Of course I was scared.

I said to her frustrated. She looked at me amused. God knows what is she up to??

Roshni: You are a police officer. You were never scared of Sikandar.

She said in a teasing voice. The hell!!

Riya: I have never fought with a ghost.

I said to her in a bored voice and she grinned looking at me.

Roshni: Relax I didn't called you to fight.

She said smiling at me and I sighed finally relaxing. Thank god!! I don't have to fight right now. To be honest I am not in the mood to fight with her.

Riya: Why am I here??

I asked her curiously. She called me here as if her life depended on it. And now she is playing games.

Roshni: Come with me!!

She smiled and went up the stairs towards a room. I went behind her.

Riya: Where are we going??

I asked her looking everywhere curiously. I can see this house was once beautiful but now only death lingers here. Now I know why Arjun doesn't want to come here.

I entered a room and looked everywhere. This room is clean as if someone is staying here.

Riya: What the!! Whose room is this??

I looked at Roshni startled. Who cleaned this room??

Roshni: What do you think??

She asked looking at me curiously. Did Roshni stay here??

Riya: Yours??

I asked her confused and she smiled.

Roshni: Hmm. Come!!

She said going towards a drawer and opened it bringing out a jewelry box. It looks very beautiful.

I looked at the jewelry box in awe but wait!! she called me here to show this?? Did she want to give me her jewelries?? No way!!

Riya: Jewelry box?? You called me here just to give me your jewelries?? Let me tell you. I am not taking anything of yours. So you can just...

I started telling her when she cut me in between.

Roshni: Shh!! Do you have to talk this much?? Open it!!

She said giving the box to me. I looked at the box in horror.

Riya: But how can I? Its yours!!

I said to her gulping in fear. Who knows what this box has??

Roshni: Its yours now!

She said smiling and I looked at her stunned. I shook my head in a no.

Riya: No. I can't take it. I won't...

I started saying only to have her glare at me.

Roshni: Riya!! Open it!!

She glared at me and I sighed tensed. Its better if I agree to what she is saying. I opened the box and it has 3 CDs. CDs?? What the hell!!

Riya: CDs?? What the!! You put CDs in jewelry box?

I looked at her stunned. What is she up to??

Roshni: This is my whole life Riya. Keep it with you. Show them to Arjun. He is a very good person Riya.

She said as if in pain. I sighed trying to control myself. I know Arjun is a very good person.

Riya: Ok!! I know that already.

I said to her smiling. She is a very good person too. Why does she has to die??

Roshni: He blames himself for everything.

she said looking down tensed. Well he blamed himself but now he is okay.

Riya: No. He blamed himself. Now he is fine.

I told her smiling and she looked at me with shine in her eyes.

Roshni: I know and that's just because of you. Unconsciously, he listens to you. He responds to you. Please pull him back to life before its too late.

She joins her hands as if pleading. What's all this?? Arjun looked absolutely fine.

Riya: But he seems fine to me.

I said to her frowning. What does she want to say??

Roshni: Even you seems fine to everyone Riya!! But are you really fine??

She asked looking at me smiling sadly. I felt my breath stop at her question. I don't want to go there again. I won't go there again.

Riya: Of course I am!! What happened to me??

I said to her shrugging as if its no big deal. I won't think of their death again. I won't.

Roshni: Before knowing the truth of Sikandar, you kind of liked Shehzaad. Right??

She asked looking at me smirking. I felt myself go stiff when the memories came to me. Yes that's right!! I liked Shehzaad but he killed my family and that was the day Riya Mukherjee died and a new Riya was born. A Riya who is more strong, more powerful.

Riya: It doesn't matter now. He killed my family. I killed him. Case closed.

I said to her smirking and she grinned looking at me.

Roshni: If its true then why do you run from your emotions?? Where is the Riya everyone knew??

She asked looking at me smiling and I took a deep breath. Very smart!! She knows where to strike. But its not possible to bring back the girl I have been 3 years ago. My life was way too simple then. On the second thought I don't think even Arjun can become the same he was before Roshni died.

Riya: She can't come back Roshni. Yes I agree your Arjun can be happy but he can never become the same Arjun he was before you died.

I told her and she looked down sighing sadly. I know she feels really bad seeing Arjun in this state but I don't think there is anything I can do about it.

Roshni: I know but I want to see him happy. With you Riya.

She said softly. I looked at her confused. She wants to see him happy, that much I understand. But with me?? What is this??

Riya: As a friend I will be with him always.

I said to her frowning. What's going on in her mind??

Roshni: And as a wife??

She asked looking at me curiously. I felt my breath stop. I can't be his wife. Not in this lifetime.

Riya: I can never be his wife Rosh. His wife is you.

I told her in panic. How can she even say all this to me. Its wrong to even think like this.

Roshni: I don't exist anymore.

She said shrugging. Her voice filled with sadness and longing. Why does she had to die?? Just why?? And she is saying she doesn't exist?? She is wrong. She exists in Arjun's heart. She will always exist there.

Riya: You do. In his heart.

I told her smiling slightly. I just hope she stop giving me heart attacks. Man!! Her mind is too much in fairy tales. Our life is no fairy tale. We are living in hell.

Roshni: And that I will always be. But just at a corner of his heart. He has his whole life ahead. Live your life Riya, and in the process, teach him how to live. Please, think that this is my last wish. Please!!

She looked at me pleading. No!! This is not possible. I can't love him, I can't love anyone. Cause what I am going to do, can hurt my loved ones too. I can't include anyone else in my mission. I know it is deadly. And to think of including Arjun in it is downright scary. He is too impulsive.

Roshni: I can't fulfill your last wish Rosh!! I just can't!!

I said to her shaking my head in a no. She was just going to say something else when I ran from the house. I went towards Arjun's SUV.

She said showing the box to me. Oh!! She started inserting a CD in the player.

Arjun: What do you think these can be about?

I asked her curiously. I don't know how she knows about these CDs. But I have never seen these before.

Riya: Rosh said that these are about her life.

She said in a flow and then stiffened. Rosh said?? What the hell!!

Arjun: Rosh??

I asked looking at her baffled. What is she talking about??

Riya: Hmm. Roshni!!

She said softly. How can she talk to Rosh?? What the hell does she want to say??

Arjun: What the hell is all this Riya??

I said to her looking at the box. She looked at me nervously. Something is definitely wrong here.

Riya: No...Nothing I just had a dream. Let's see all these.

She said and sat on the couch. I sat on the couch shaking my head exasperated. Dream?? Rosh came in Riya's dream?? Strange!!

I looked up only to see the CD is a recording. Rosh sat on her room and the CD starts with her looking down sadly. What happened?? Why is she sad?? But what Rosh said in the CD is really disturbing.

She is saying that she feels we have limited time together. She can feel that her end is coming near. And she wants to say what she feels before she dies. Rosh said she loves me and will always love me. I know that but there is something really sad in her tone. As if she is saying this to me last time.

Roshni (in video): I love you Arjun!! I really love you . But I know you are not mine. I had a dream, a dream that said that I have to give you to the person you are made for. That I have to leave this world, and something more beautiful awaits me. Someone who is made for me is waiting for me. You were just in my life to send me to where I belong. Now its time to say goodbye to you, so that I can meet the person I am destined to be with.

She said and I looked at the screen in horror. Who believes in dreams?? And still her dream did came true. She died leaving me.

Arjun: Why is she saying all that??

I looked at the screen tensed. I don't know what to say and what to do.

Riya: I don't know.

I heard Riya murmuring in distress.

Roshni (in video): Arjun I know this CD will reach to you. I will make sure of that. And I know you will meet the person you are destined to be with. And I promise I will be with you till she accepts you, with her heart. And trust me Arjun, I love you , but I know the girl who is made for you , will love you more than me. As I will love someone else, more than you.

She said and the recording ended. I sighed feeling disturbed. Why did she said all those things?? She is the one for me. She will always be the one for me. I can't love anyone else. I won't.

Then we took out another CD but it was addressed to Sameer. Its better if we watch this with him. We put the CD back and took out the third CD and it has the name written on it, and we both looked at the name in horror.

Arjun: What the hell!!

I looked at Riya and she is looking at the CD with wide eyes.

Arjun: How the hell is this possible?? How can she have a CD for you??

I asked her trying to comprehend what exactly is going on.

Riya: I don't know.

She said putting the CD in the player. The CD started running and we both heard Roshni's voice but there was no one just an empty room.

Riya: I can't believe this. I am getting mad I think. There is no one but this voice is of Rosh.

Riya said tensing in disbelief. Wait!! This voice of Rosh is slightly different. How did Riya know how Rosh sounds now??

Arjun: How did you know that??

I asked Riya looking at her suspiciously.

Riya: Um..I heard her in my dream.

She said hesitating. I am damn sure she is hiding something. I heard Roshni calling Riya's name and I felt my eyes widen. What the hell!!

Roshni (in video): Riya!! Hii!! I know Arjun is with you too. I know you didn't like what I told you but you have to believe me Riya. It was for the best.

I heard the voice tensed. She told something to Riya but when?? In Riya's dream??

Roshni (in video): I know you are not too keen on it, but please think about my last wish. I will be in your debt forever.

I looked at Riya startled. She is looking at the screen as if she is just holding herself. She is looking too much distressed. And wait when did Rosh record this video?? After her death??

Arjun: Don't tell me she recorded this after dying. This is freaky. Is she still here??

I asked looking everywhere. I looked at Riya and she is looking down fidgeting.

Arjun: Riya!! The truth!!

I asked her sternly and she looked at me tensed.

Riya: I...I...

I know she was going to give some excuse.

Arjun: The truth Riya!!

I glared at her and she gulped looking at me.

Riya: I saw her.

She said softly and I looked at her stunned. She saw Rosh??

Arjun: When?? Where??

I asked her panicked. How can she see her?? How is it even possible??

Riya: Last night she called me. I came down here in front of her portrait. Then she told me to go to your previous house.

She said tensed. I felt as if she is recollecting a horror movie scene. What is all this nonsense?? And wait!! How did she know about this jewelry box. Suddenly I remembered that I saw someone in Rosh's room. I stiffened thinking about the possibility.

Arjun: She was there today too??

I asked Riya tensed.

Riya: Hmm.

She nodded in yes and I totally freaked out. What is all this?? Why did she came to Riya?? Why didn't she talk to me??

Arjun: What is all this?? Why you?? Why didn't she told me all this??

I asked from Riya perplexed. What does she want from Riya??

Riya: I don't know.

She looked at me and then looked down. Wait!! She said something about her last wish.

Arjun: What was her last wish she was talking about??

I asked Riya confused. She looked as if ready to flee from the room.

Riya: I...I don't rem...remember. I am tired. Good night.

She said standing up. I knew it. I knew she is hiding something. I stood in front of her.

Arjun: I am asking something Riya.

I looked at her sternly. She sighed as if tired and looked at me with hurt in her eyes. What happened??

Riya: Her last wish is not possible Arjun. Not now not ever.

She said as if she is determined. But what can Roshni demand from Riya??

Arjun: What did she said Riya??

I asked her sternly. I had to know what Roshni demanded??

Riya: For you to move on from her. For me to think about what had happened with me. Yes she was right. I liked Shehzaad before I knew about him. But he killed my family. He was a murderer. I killed him. The case is closed. And I have moved on. What's the need to go back there?? Why would I do that??

She said shouting as if she is being tortured. God!!! What the hell is wrong with Rosh??

Arjun: Riya!!

I said softly trying to bring her back to her senses. I know she is being over distressed right now. And that's not good for her.

Riya: You know I respect you a lot, I care for you as a friend and I will be here for you as a friend whenever you need me but I can't be your wife. I can't. This is just not possible.

She said looking at me in panic and ran towards the bedroom. I know she is right. There can nothing be between us apart from friendship.

Arjun: Even I can't accept you as my wife. My wife was Roshni and she will be my wife. Always. You are just my friend Riya. Nothing else.

I said to the empty room. Or may be I said to myself. But I know my wife is Rosh. Only Rosh. No one can take her place. Not now not ever. Suddenly I heard Rosh's voice.

Roshni: Then let her go Arjun.

I heard Roshni's voice but there is no one in this room.

Arjun: What??

I looked everywhere startled. Then I closed my eyes and I can see Rosh in front of me.

Roshni: Let her go. Let her live her life. At least she can find someone who will love her.

She said with pain in her eyes. I know I can never fulfill her last wish. I can never allow her to go to anyone else. She is mine. She had always been my wife. So how can she say that we were never meant to be?? And if Riya really found someone to live with. Then I will release her from this relationship.

Arjun: If anything like this would happen then I will free her from this namesake relationship forever.

I promised her smiling slightly. She sighed as if she is in pain. I hate causing her pain, but we can't always be happy. Right??

Roshni: Trust her Arjun. Trust your life again. Please.

She said with tears in her eyes. I opened my eyes and the room is still empty. I trust Riya, that's the truth. But I can never trust my life or her God again. Never again. This pain is too much to bear. I can never go through with this pain again.

Arjun: I can't. Riya was right Rosh. She can't be my wife. Not now, not ever. Leave this madness here only.

I said in a stern voice and I felt a different energy around me as if something is changing. I don't know what's happening.

Roshni: Then I can never be happy Arjun. I can never be in peace ever.

I heard Roshni's shout and suddenly everything stills. As if she was never here. I closed my eyes trying to feel her. But there was nothing. Nothing besides the black hole that is spreading inside me. It feels as if she left me, to suffer here. Forever.

I woke up only to feel as if I didn't sleep at all. I slept really late. I heard what Roshni said to Arjun last night. But I didn't hear what Arjun replied. I looked here and there but there is no sign of Arjun. Looks like he didn't came in the room last night. I shook my head and went to washroom.

I came in the living room only to see Arjun sitting in the room looking at some news. He is wearing casuals?? He is not going to office??

Riya: What are you wearing?? Don't we have office today??

I asked looking at him confused. He looked up and I stopped in my tracks. His eyes are blank. As if he has nothing in his life now. What happened to him in one night??

Arjun: Rathore called. We are leaving for Devgarh today only. So he said to be ready till 10 am. He will pick us up. Shree, Chotu, Sakshi and Lisa already left. We will go with Rathore and Ayesha.

He said looking at the TV with blank stare. Devgarh?? That too in just 2 hours??

Riya: Oh. Okay!!

I nodded at him sitting beside him. I didn't tried to find about the case as Shree and Sakshi were working on it. But I am curious now. I opened my laptop but suddenly remembered that Arjun knows about them.

Riya: Who are these people??

I asked him curiously. He looked at me as if coming out of a trance.

Arjun: You tell me. You are research specialist.

He said shrugging and looked at me in challenge. Oh!! So these people are highly confidential. No problem. There is nothing that I can't find about.

I searched for almost 15 minutes in my laptop then looked at Arjun smirking.

Riya: Rajmata Mrinalini Devi. I have heard about her. She is the head of Devgarh Estate. Right??

I said to him raising my eyebrows.

Arjun: Hmm. She is grandmother of Uday's fiancee.

He said shrugging nonchalantly. Wait!! Uday??

I asked him curiously. Is he talking about his friend??

Arjun: Crown Prince of Jaigarh, Udayveer Singh.

Oh!! That means there is a prince in the equation too?? But wait!! Arjun knows him?? How??

Riya: Where did you met him??

I asked him perplexed. I didn't know Arjun belongs to the upper society circle.

Arjun: In his hotel bar. I was drunk at that time and he drove me to my lodge, then I saved his life once when he was attacked by his rivals. From then he is my friend.

Arjun?? And drunk?? Must have been a very bad day.

Riya: Oh. Who is his fiancee??

I asked looking at Arjun. I know Mrinalini Devi has two grand daughters.

Arjun: What's your research say??

He asked looking at me smirking. I sighed irritated.

I said and then started my work again. Finally I found what I am searching about.

Riya: Okay. Crown Princess of Devgarh. Princess Manyata Kumari. Smart, Intelligent, Beautiful and Humble. But she has the mind sharper than the head of Devgarh Estate, i.e., Mrinalini Devi. I shrugged and looked at the laptop. I tried finding about the second grand daughter only to see the face I never want to look at . Jainandini.

I looked at my laptop startled. This can't be possible.

I groaned frustrated. He looked at the picture and then at me amused.

Arjun asked in full alert mode now.

I said looking at her picture smirking. It will be interesting to see if she behaves the same in her house or not.

Arjun: Go and get ready fast. Rest we will discuss in our way to Devgarh.

Arjun said looking at the clock. Shit!! Its already 9 am and I still have to pack my clothes.

Riya: Ok!!

I nodded and ran towards our bedroom. I had to get ready and pack too. That too in just 1 hour.

Rathore's POV:

I looked at the house in front of me perplexed. What the hell!! Why such grandeur?? Are they trying to compete with the royal family?? I came out of my thoughts when I heard Ayesha's voice.

Ayesha: What are you thinking??

She asked looking at me curiously and I sighed irritated looking at the house.

Rathore: Nothing just what's the need to purchase this big house??

I said looking at the house sighing. Wait!! Is Arjun planning to bring his Mom and Dad here??

Ayesha: Who knows?? Why don't you ask Arjun sir??

Ayesha said getting out from the SUV. I rolled my eyes and get out from my side and locked the SUV.

Rathore: Right!! Let's go in.

I said to her and we both came inside. As we entered the living room, I looked at the picture in front of me. Roshni.

Ayesha: That's Roshni right??

Ayesha asked looking at the picture intently. I looked at her picture for some time. Why does it feels as if this picture has a life of its own?? Why does it feels as if Rosh wants to say something to me. But what??

Rathore: Hmm.

I nodded then looked towards Arjun standing in front of Rosh's pic only to come to a halt. What the hell!!

Rathore: What the hell!!

I shouted looking at him. He is not ready?? What the hell is he wearing??

I shouted looking at him baffled.

Arjun: Clothes??

He asked looking at me raising his eyebrows. I heard Ayesha chuckle and I glared at her. What?? Now he is behaving as if he has gone mad.

He said shrugging indicating towards his luggage. Like this??? He is going like this?? What the hell!!

I looked at him startled.

He nodded determined and I sighed irritated knowing he won't listen to anyone.

Rathore: Where is Riya??

I asked looking everywhere.

Riya: I am here sir.

I turned towards the voice only to see the person coming towards us gobsmacked. I groaned frustrated looking at her outfit.

Rathore: And you are going like this??

I asked her sarcastically.

Riya: Yes sir!!

She said smiling sweetly. God!! This husband wife pair will make me mad some day for sure.

Rathore: Let me remind you both we are going there for a case. Not for your honeymoon.

I looked at both of them sternly gritting my teeth.

Arjun: We remember that very well. SIR!!

Arjun said sarcastically and then picked up his bag and started dragging Riya's luggage.

Arjun: Now let's go!!

He said opening the front door and I came out looking at him irritated. We all sat in the SUV. Riya sat beside Arjun in the back seat and Ayesha sat beside me in the passenger seat.

Ayesha: Sir about the case.

Ayesha looked at Arjun .

Arjun: We know everything about that.

Arjun said dismissing as if its nothing important.

Rathore: How??

I looked at him suspiciously. What is he upto now??

Arjun: Remember?? My wife was a research specialist. And now she is very resourceful. Right Riya??

He said looking at Riya with a teasing expression and Riya glared at him.

Rathore: What do you know about the family members??

I looked at Riya curiously. Arjun is right. Riya was the best research specialist, so may be she found out something else.

I said looking ahead again.

I heard Arjun saying in a blank voice. I stopped the car in front of a big palace.

Ayesha said getting down from the SUV. We all came out from the SUV.

Riya: Nice palace. Pretty old though.

Riya said looking at the palace interested.

Rathore: Hmm. Let's go in.

I ordered and we all went inside only to see Shree moving around the hall tensed. We all went towards him.

Shree: Thank god sir you all are here.

Shree said looking at me but suddenly their gazes fell on something or someone behind me. I know they all are looking at Arjun and Riya.

Chotu: What the!!

Chotu exclaimed baffled. But Arjun marched towards the servant and Riya is looking everywhere interested. So they can't ask anything.

Arjun said to a servant. The servant looked at Arjun baffled.

The servant said softly looking down.

Arjun: Where is Rajmata??

Arjun asked with an authoritative tone.

I heard a powerful male voice and we all turned towards the front door looking at the person who just came inside the palace. He looks like a king and may be he is the king.

Rajmata: My son!! Brijraj. And Brijraj they all are here to investigate about the crown.

She said introducing us to her son. Hmm, I was right. He is the King of Devgarh Estate.

Brijraj: Oh! Okay. Where is Manyata??

He asked looking everywhere. We all heard another voice.

She said joining her hands. We all nodded at her smiling. Now its better if we start our investigation. And for that I have to meet Uday first.

Jainandini: I am going out with my friends. I can't stay here all day and all night like a prisoner.

She looked at me glaring. She is a suspect. She can't go out without any one of us.

Arjun: Shree. Go with her.

I said to Shree and he nodded.

Jainandini: Excuse me?? Why would he go with me??

Jainandini asked looking at Shree disgusted.

Arjun: No one, and I mean it. No one can cross the front door without one of us. You all are under surveillance right now. Even Manyata herself. I hope you all understand.

I said to every one of them sternly and they all nodded in yes.

Jainandini: Whatever.

She said and went to her room. Good for her.

Riya: Looks like she is scared of you Shree.

Riya said looking at Shree teasingly.

Shree: Wow!! I look that serious??

Shree asked looking at Riya excited but Riya just grinned looking at him.

Lisa: No Specky Sen you look dumb. That's why she is afraid if anyone sees her with you.

Lisa said looking at Shree winking and Shree became red as a tomato in anger. God!! these two fight like kids.

Shree: Why don't you keep your mouth shut, Liza...ard.

Shree said showing his tongue to her. Lisa was just going to counter attack when Rathore shouted.

Rathore: Guys stop it!! Can we work normally here?? Without you all fighting like dogs??

He said looking at both Shree and Lisa angrily. They both shut up looking at Rathore's anger.

Riya: Did anyone else came here from outside apart from normal family members??

Riya asked looking at Manyata.

Manyata: No. Just Unnati and Giriraj Uncle.

She said smiling at Uday. Now who are these people?? Uday saw the questions etched on everyone's faces and said to us.

Udayveer: My dad and younger sister.

He said grinning and we all nodded.

Vijayendra: She is my fiancee.

Suddenly Manyata's brother said excited. Looks like everyone in this family is having a love marriage. I shook my head looking at him.

Rathore: Hmm. Call them here too.

Rathore said looking at Uday seriously.

Udayveer: Okay.

Uday nodded at him and we all stood from our seats.

Manyata: Till then I will show you our estate. Come!!

Manyata said excitedly and everyone nodded at her.

Riya: I am not feeling well. You all can go. I will rest for some time.

Riya said and went to our room here. What's wrong with her??

Udayveer: Jun??

I looked at Uday questioningly.

Arjun: Hmm.

He looked at me as if he is hesitating.

Udayveer: Everything's okay between you and your wife??

He asked looking at me tensed. Now what to tell him?? That she is just my friend?? And don't know why but I am feeling as if something is really wrong with her.

Arjun: Why are you asking??

I asked looking at Uday with a blank face. I know he cares for me a lot. Don't know why but looks like I can only have the friends who belongs to Royal families.

Udayveer: She looks beautiful yet her eyes show another story.

Uday said as if thinking something. I know he is right. She looked as if she is in some other land. Like she is planning something. But what??

Arjun: Veer you go with everyone. I have to talk to Riya.

I said to him and he looked at me raising his eyebrow teasingly. I rolled my eyes at him.

Udayveer: Okay. Bye. See you later.

He grinned and ran behind everyone. I went towards our room only to see Riya standing at the window tensed. I have to find out what's wrong with her. I don't know why but I am feeling scared. Scared for Riya.

I looked out at everyone going with Udayveer and Manyata, but Arjun is not with them. Where did he go?? I frowned looking out. I don't know why but I am feeling like I should start my mission as soon as possible. I can't live my life as if everything is okay. As if I am okay. Cause right now I am feeling everything but ok. I am feeling like killing someone today. It feels as if the darkness inside me is growing. I don't know what to do.

Arjun: Riya?? What's wrong??

I came out from my thoughts hearing Arjun's voice. I turned around only to see Arjun closing the door. So he didn't go with everyone. I have to tell him what I sensed here.

Riya: I don't know why but I am feeling as if everyone is watching our every move.

I said looking at him tensed. This palace is not a happy place to live in. Everyone judges you here.

Arjun: What happened??

He looked at me tensed and I sighed trying to relax.

Riya: Their head servants are really fishy.

I told him looking out only to see one of them out with a staff member. There is something fishy about them.

Arjun: Means??

Arjun looked at me confused. Interesting. There is something that Arjun Rawte didn't see??

Riya: Means I saw both of them looking at Manyata as if they doesn't trust her or like her.

I told him what I saw. When they all were busy with talking to Udayveer and Manyata I looked towards each and every member of the staff only to see both their head servants looking at Manyata in disgust. As if she doesn't belong here.

Arjun: Okay. Anything else you suspected??

He asked looking at me curiously. Well there is some information which I wanted to tell everyone but they are not in the house.

Riya: Hmm. I have found out that before the crowning ceremony of Manyata someone tried to kill her. First with snake, then with giving her poison.

I told him and he stiffened looking at me in shock. Now what?? Suddenly I realised what I did. God!! He will understand for sure that what I am upto. God!! Why did I told this to him??

Arjun: Why didn't they tell us all these things. And how the hell did you find out??

He looked at me sternly and I turned towards the window. I can't tell him what I planned to do.

Arjun: And yes how did you know about Sakshi's father?? Even we don't know about that.

Arjun said turning me towards him forcefully grabbing my arms. No!! This time I will do what I want. No one can stop me. Not even Arjun Rawte.

Riya: I have sources Arjun.

I said to him and tried to leave when he grabbed both of my arms tightly. I tried to release myself but his hold is too tight. I looked at him and his eyes are spitting fire.

Arjun: Enough of this hide and seek Riya. I want to know right now.

He shouted and I flinched at his tone. Fine!! If he wants to know then I will tell him. But it won't change anything. I will go on this mission.

Riya: Fine!! Look at this.

I shrugged his hands and turned my laptop towards him opening the files I was working on. He looked at the laptop for 5 minutes then looked at me shocked. He sat on the bed beside laptop stunned.

Arjun: My god Riya!! This is level A information. How did you??

He asked still looking at me perplexed. I took a deep breath and started to tell him what all this is about.

Riya: Some of our level A officers are helping some gangsters. And as I was Sikandar's girlfriend I am still a part of their communication as Zoya. I know each and every traitor we have in our department. And I will expose them, but gradually. And these gangsters will have no one helping for them.

I told him smirking and I saw him going pale. I know I am doing something very dangerous but this is really very important. I know I should end this game of Zoya but I need this till the end of this mission. I am not trying to kill all these officers. I am just trying to send them where they won't be able to do all this.

Riya: I am trying for the transfer of these officers from Mumbai.

I said turning towards the window. I felt him standing beside me. I looked at him and he is looking out as if thinking something.

Arjun: Riya you are trying to do something very big. This is really dangerous.

He said looking at me with blank face. I flinched and turned my face away from him. He is having the same expression I saw in his face in the morning today. As if he doesn't have anything left to live. As if he has no life.

Riya: I want some mission in my life Arjun. I can't live this blank life. And if I die while saving my nation, then what's wrong in it.

I said to him shrugging and suddenly as if something snapped in him. His eyes are full of anger and hurt.

Arjun: Are you mad?? Basically you are trying to suicide.

He shouted and I took some steps back from him. I gulped and took a deep breath to control my raging heartbeats.

Riya: I don't care anymore.

I looked at him angrily. I won't allow anyone to control me. Not even Arjun.

Arjun: But I care Riya. You can't do all this alone.

He said somewhat softly. I closed my eyes seeing pain and hurt in his eyes. I don't want to see him like this. But I have to do this alone.

Riya: I can and I will.

I looked at him determined. He looked at me sternly.

Arjun: Fine then. I want an aim in my life too. I will join you.

He said in a tone which clearly shows that he will do what he is saying. I looked at him shocked. I can't allow him to do that.

Riya: NO!!

I shouted at him and he raised his eyebrow at me.

Arjun: Why?? I am officer too. And if you can do that then I will too.

He said looking at me determined. No way. He can't do this. He has to live his life.

Riya: I won't allow this to you Arjun.

I looked at him in warning. He started laughing then suddenly grabbed my arms and pulled me towards him forcefully. I looked at him stunned. His eyes are spitting fire and I felt my heart dropped.

Arjun: Then trust me Riya, I will destroy every path that leads you to these dangerous waters.

He said in a dangerous tone. I felt my heart beats getting faster but I can't back down now. I have to fight. Fight to live my life as I want.

Riya: I will destroy everything that will try to stop me. So stay away Arjun.

I glared at him and tried to loosen his hold on me. His hands are really hurting and looking at his eyes I felt like I am hurting him. And I don't want to hurt him.

Arjun: I won't damn it!!

He grabbed my hand more strongly and I winced in pain. I gritted my teeth angrily.

Riya: Then you will be responsible for whatever happened with you.

I said to him in a warning tone and his eyes became full of anger and resentment.

Arjun: Riya don't try my patience. I will destroy this whole world if you have even a single scratch because of this madness of yours.

He said with so much passion in his voice and eyes that I looked at him taken aback. Why?? Why will he do that?? Why so much emotions for me?? Whatever is happening is not right. He can't get attached to me. He can't.

Riya: You won't do anything Arjun.

I looked at him pleading but his eyes became hard.

Arjun: Try me.

He said in a challenging tone and I know no one can stop him when he is in this mood.

Riya: Why are you trying to do this?? I want something to live my life damn it. Can't you understand??

I shrugged his hands and sat on the bed distressed. How will I live this life of darkness?? He sighed as if tired and sat on the floor on his knees in front of me.

Arjun: Then find a man you can love and live with him. Make your life. You have your whole life ahead Riya. Stop this madness.

He said softly grabbing both my hands in his. I looked at him with pain in my eyes. He knows that this is not possible.

Riya: Can you do that??

I asked him sternly and he stiffened.

Riya: Can you??

I asked him raising my eyebrow at him.

Arjun: No!!

He said shaking his head in a no. I got up and went towards the window again.

Riya: Then how can you expect that from me?? This is serious hypocrisy Arjun.

I looked at him gritting my teeth. He looked at me with determined face. Not not again. I can't handle this Arjun. In front of me is the Arjun Rawte I met for the first time. The same anger, the same determination. But at that time the anger was for Roshni, the determination was to kill Sikandar. But this time the anger is for me, and the determination is to stop me. I can't handle all these things. I am feeling like killing myself. Cause I know if Arjun decided to stop me then I can't actually fight him.

Arjun: I won't let you go in this madness of yours. And this is final.

He said looking at me with a stern face. That's it. He can't just order me. I know where to strike. I know how I can make him back out.

Riya: Don't you think you are taking your role of husband more seriously??

I asked him raising my eyebrows. He flinched but then looked at me with a blank look. Now what's this?? He doesn't look like he is backing off.

Arjun: If you want to think that then I have no problem. But I won't let you go in this mission.

He said looking at me seriously and I looked at him stunned. What the hell!! He smirked looking at my face. God!! He knew I am trying to spite him.

Riya: You can't stop me Arjun. No one can.

I looked at him determined and he sighed as if he lost. Thank god!! Now I know he won't stop me.

Arjun: Fine Riya. If you want to go then I won't stop you. But let me tell you one thing. The day you start this madness will be the last day of my life. Think and decide yourself.

He said looking at me with a blank face and I felt my breath stopped. How can I forget he is Arjun Suryakant Rawte. He can do anything. But how can he say all this. I felt my eyes tearing up.

Riya: ARJUN!!

I pulled his collar angrily. How can he talk about his life like this?? His life is too precious. Too precious.

Riya: Stop this please!!

I said closing my eyes with tears flowing from my eyes continuously.

Arjun: That's what I am saying Riya. Stop all this nonsense. Please. Kill this Zoya before its too late.

He said grabbing my face in his palms. I looked at him with all the emotions that I am feeling right now. I am helpless. I don't know where to go. I am aimless. My life is useless now.

Riya: How?? I am just lost here.

I looked at him crying and his face mirrored my pain. He pushed my head on his chest and I hugged him crying my heart out for the first time in last 3 years. I didn't cry when my family died. But today in his arms I felt like I can release my pain. Like he can save me from this pain.

I felt the darkness reducing finally. I felt as if I can live my life.

Arjun: Relax please.

He murmured tightening the hug and wiping my tears softly. I know he cares a lot but can I really remove Zoya from Riya. Can I really try to be what I actually was.

In his arms I felt like it is possible. But can he try to move on. Is he ready?? I don't know why but I am really scared. Suddenly I felt him dipped his face in my hairs. I know he understood what I am thinking. I smiled slightly. I don't know what's our destiny or destination but we will try for sure. As for Zoya, she has to die. But Riya won't be weak now. This Riya won't bow down without a fight. This Riya is not afraid of shooting, this Riya is not afraid of hurting anyone if they are at the wrong side.

I took a deep breath and smiled slightly. I know Arjun can't become Arjun Sir for me again. I felt Arjun tighten the hug. Suddenly we both parted startled when we heard Rathore Sir's voice.

Rathore: I had the doubt before, but now I am sure.

I wiped my tears and looked at Rathore Sir. When did they came back?? And were we really fighting for so long??

Arjun: What??

Arjun asked looking at Rathore startled.

Rathore: You both are not interested in solving the case. Right?? Still in the mood of your leave. But let me tell you, you both are on duty.

Rathore Sir said smirking and I looked at him stunned. What the hell!! Did Rathore sir just teased us?? I looked at Arjun and he is looking at Rathore sir with raised eyebrows.

Arjun: Yes SIR.

Arjun said sweetly stressing at the world sir and I tried to control my laugh.

Arjun: Did you find anything??

Arjun asked looking at Rathore sir curiously. Oh yes!! They went for sight seeing, right??

Rathore: Jaigarh estate is just beside the Devgarh estate. And after the marriage of Udayveer and Manyata, Jaigarh and Devgarh will be merged and they both will be reigning King and Queen of both the estates.

He said looking at both of us seriously. Looks like someone is against this merger.

Riya: Hmm. That means someone doesn't want this merger.

I looked at both of them curiously.

Rathore: Right! Did you find anything??

He asked looking at both of us raising his eyebrows.

Riya: Hmm. The head servants are both fishy.

I told him and he looked at us frowning. He called Shree and put the phone on speaker.

Rathore: Shree??

Rathore sir said as the call was picked.

Shree: Yes sir!!

Shree shouted panting as if he was running. I frowned looking at the phone. What the hell is going on??

Rathore: Keep your eyes on both the head servants.

Rathore sir said rolling his eyes looking at the phone.

Shree: Ok Sir!!

Shree shouted and cut the call again. Looks like they all are hell bent on enjoying this trip.

Rathore: Tomorrow is the cocktail party in the palace.

Rathore sir said looking at us sternly. Cocktail party?? That means each and every friend of the Royal couple will be there.

Riya: We will attend of course??

I asked looking at Rathore sir and Arjun curiously.

Arjun: Hmm. We have to be on alert 24*7.

Arjun said seriously and we both nodded at Arjun. He is right. We have to be on alert. Anything can happen if they got to know that we are police officers.

I just hope we can find out the enemy before any actual harm can be done.
