They finally relax in the moving truck as they escape the wacky cop! Both lost in their own thoughts when she asks him if Poosh got murdered?
How can he answer this? His life is currently a dilemma in itself! There are so many questions and the only person who can answer them all has left him forever!!
He tells zoya that he thought the reason why puja didnt sign the divorce papers is maybe coz she cared for him.. But then how could she have cared for him and simultaneously given him so much pain?
"IT WAS OUR THING" he tells zoya...puja shared "their" moments with someone else...while he was buying gifts for her,to please her, she was lying to him..she was punishing him!!
In exasperation Adi tells zoya,that now he doubts his ability to understand, to read situations!! He does not know anything..
EXCEPT they BOTH have been deceived and BOTH of them are innocent!
And with a slight hesitation he ask her if atleast SHE believes he is innocent? And she says a yes.
But before she actually says yes, she smiles...THAT smile is all the affirmation he needs..he reads her face,he reads her eyes before hearing that word, and he feels a burden lifting... He feels a crack in the walls that seem to crush his heart and suffocate him..
He can breathe easy now and so he SMILES!! His eyes are filled with tears but he smiles because at that moment when Zoya Siddique confesses her trust in him, he starts to heal!!
For a man who has been betrayed far many times, trust placed on him by this woman means the world..Only he and Zoya knows how important it is to him..
Earlier he helped her to calm her nerves without speaking a word, now she calms his SOUL with just a word!!
He lends a shoulder to her to cry on, to support, to encourage...she lends an ear to him to pour his heart out!
Zoya finds a hand to hold and Adi finds a heart to understand!!
Now both of them can sleep, both of them can dream, both of them can heal!!!
