Just some thoughts...
It seems possible that the whole divorce signing was a drama. Perhaps a test or challenge between MeerVaan to decide once and for all, if PK or SM are responsible for the attacks. Either that or Vivaan is distancing himself from Meera to protect her.
The pregnancy misunderstanding was started by the Dhingra ladies. Meera is not pregnant and I think they both know this. Meera had said before that only she would decide when their marriage would end and doctor might have helped her with this.
Perhaps the whole situation is to force MeerVaan to face what they mean to each other and obviously, to stop them signing the divorce papers.
There have been a few references to Meera's ability to 'play' and how she is direct. In the latest episode, Meera openly accuses SM and would not be silenced by Vivaan. She boldly questioned him for believing Sheri's lies and asked why he could not believe her. This made Vivaan puase for thought.
Vivaan has been strangely quiet, as he was before his birthday. At that time, he did not openly challenge SM and Laali with out proof. Is he keeping his cards hidden again?
There could be two things happening simultaneously. MeerVaan setting a trap for someone and they have their personal struggle too...
